@oztalksfootball For someone so tall should be far better. Very flappy and anxious with cross claiming. Sanchez much better in that aspect.

@oztalksfootball Commanding of the box. Parries far to much, struggles with his handling. Great long distributor, still struggles with his short passing (not terrible at it but still got a way to go) which will affect how Alonso wants to play especially with emphasis on first phase control

@IbzySpeaks Same. When fit and 100% (rare i know), he’s class. Brilliant in the first phase and unreal on the half turn and probably our best player at line breakers. Literally his only issue is injuries. Not ability. One game a week hopefully allows him to recover and rotation and play more

@rhystakes If anything it will help us on the pitch. In fact im very sure it will. He’ll sit on the bench but will help us more than a Andrey Santos, Badiashile, Disasi and Guiu would if they were on the bench.

@Asadcfc66 Xabi also wangs Henderson? Cant have it one way just because its a better player. I dont think he plays much at all. More of a around the club player. Harmless signing that can literally only improve us.

@kylepadan1 I have wanted experience for a while but the difference is getting quality experience So Xhaka actually made sense because Xabi wanted him also, I don’t think Henderson really offers anything at his age. He probably won’t play anyways it’s whatever though.

@MaxFSport @CFCPys Lewa said he didn’t wanna play in Europe due to his love for Barca. Plus MONSTER wages. Neves and Tielemans were more of playing signings. Not leaders or winners. Either of them. Hendo i doubt will play much. Much more like a leader around the club. To raise standards.

Robert Lewandowski was there for backup ST. The likes of Neves and Tielemens in midfield were available. In CB, Thiago silva was available on a free.

Counter point to this though, as much as a pivot and a willingness to alter course is appreciated and needed, I am not sure any fan was thinking of Welbeck and Henderson for experience. Dunk or Burn in CB now Stones if off because they have played a lot in the PL? I think what fans were actually asking for was leaders who could go straight into the XI and catapulte the team. Bastoni's, Bruno G's etc. Leadership on the pitch has been Chelsea's biggest issue, not motivational speaches in the dressing room.

I don’t do PR. I labelled it as hope because I wasn’t sure if I genuinely believed what I was told until we started seeing Chelsea attempt to sign these players. But there we go. Henderson. Welbeck. Stones. Xhaka all targets who are leaders, experienced and mature. Proven players in Rogers and Lacroix. They genuinely want to change.

@Autrezsyt Agree. Welbeck and Stones come under that category. But we also need leaders off the pitch. All 3 if signed will be used to a minimum anyway.
