Actively building a solution to this. Long-form media already depends on sponsors and ad revenue to survive. That shapes incentives, weakens authenticity, and limits how much value creators and communities actually keep. The future should be owned, coordinated, and compounding. Founders: take my advice... do not talk to the press, go direct and do long-form podcasts. Wired and the NYT are as biased as Fox News and MSNOW these days This is a function of their need to pander to one side to survive, be it through $ 3-a-month subs or rage-baiting ad-based stories. Attacking tech gets views (see Karen Swisher)... and views get advertisers (paradoxically, tech advertisers support the folks trashing tech! let that sink in!) Founders: If you talk to the NYT or WIRED, they will trash and misrepresent you 95% of the time in order to get more subscribers and page views It is what it is...

@wearhelmet1 I didn’t use KongSwap much. It seemed like a lot of people preferred it over ICPSwap. But when one party holds 52% of the voting power, there’s only so much the platform can realistically become.

@CryptoFun21 I think that’s the core issue. ICP's tech is strong, but there still isn’t enough economic depth in the ecosystem yet. More infrastructure, more products, and more real usage are what make momentum stick.

Fair point. I do not mean it in a grim way. I mean that if ICP is still struggling two years from now, despite how strong the tech is and how much adjacent innovation is accelerating around it, then something deeper is broken. To me, this two year window is less about doom and more about pressure. It puts a healthy fire under the ecosystem to deliver stronger product market fit. And honestly, there are already signs of that showing up. If you look closely, more and more pieces are becoming indirectly exposed to the ecosystem’s organic growth, which should help compound momentum from here.

There’s something $ICP influential people gotta help me, reducing years to 2 years can be the switch to kill this project in exactly that time, if ICP don’t get traction in 2 years everyone will sell, basically we reduced our lifeline from 8 to 2 years. forum.dfinity.org/t/mission-70-a…

I think much of the work that has gone unnoticed will finally be seen and felt in 2026. I do not think it is all or nothing. I genuinely believe we are approaching a time when the broader market can no longer ignore real innovation. Even if that does not fully play out, I still do not believe the unlock period will be the end of ICP. But the pressure of that possibility should push everyone to become more competitive and ship real products.
