@flippyflip99 @rumBaKnight @ryanburge How about “would you serve the laity the blood of Christ if the pope said you can’t?” Which is real example of every Catholic priest ever before the reformation.

@rumBaKnight @kyperless @ryanburge Its also logic defying, as I said earlier, its akin to the "can God create something so heavy he cant pick it up" question except in this case its saying "would you follow the pope if he changed church teaching" or more literally "would you follow the pope if he were protestant"

A national survey of religious leaders included this question, "Would you perform the wedding of a same-sex couple if your religious group allowed it?" Among Catholic priests born before 1950: 61% said yes. Among Catholic priests born in 1970 or later: 19% said yes.

@flippyflip99 @ryanburge That’s just not the case. There are entire dioceses within those denoms that don’t allow same sex marriage..

@kyperless @ryanburge I guess it would depend on the church, im assuming an Evangelical Lutheran church would remove a pastor for not performing a wedding, citing bigotry or some such nonsense

@flippyflip99 @ryanburge Do you think that the church "allows" or "enforces" gay weddings in Christian traditions where that is permissible?

@kyperless @ryanburge Lol what? This says "if the church allowed" not "if the church enforced"

@HDLinMS @MattWalshBlog I totally agree. Matt, constitutionally, has to disagree. Or else it’s not “from God”.

@kyperless @MattWalshBlog God instituted the death penalty in the Old Testament for far less than this. It should never be blanketed over most laws, but there’s absolutely biblical evidence for punishing harsh crimes (sins) by death.

I am challenging any death penalty opponent — there are millions of them, allegedly — to step up to the plate right now and explain why this guy should not be executed. His guilt is established beyond any doubt whatsoever. His crime is utterly savage and heinous. Tell us why he doesn’t deserve to die. Go ahead.

@RorateCaeli Our bad. Maybe if we turned it into a mosque, your pope could come bless it? Or maybe a block of ice?

@Catherine_LCP @FlaviusTdsius @RorateCaeli This will exclusively happen in the “Catholic world” aka Europe, where no one goes to church and society has been stuck for 400 years, only dragged along every now and then when a Protestant nations drags it. In lands of empty churches, it may not even be stealing!

@FlaviusTdsius @RorateCaeli I’d recommend you google this. Theres no such thing as a church stolen by Protestants. Has never happened.
