@su_rronquillo These attacks are not only devastating and heartbreaking but infuriating. The hatred towards the APPI community needs to stop.

@ArianaRuetten Thank you for sharing. I think it can be difficult to help/provide support to someone who is grieving.

@AtkinsTyanna Kicking people to the streets despite possible numerous instabilities and unemployment from the pandemic is going to cause far more problems than keeping protections in place on evictions. That's insane.

So let me get this right during a pandemic, we are going to kick people out in the streets when we know a pandemic has most likely contributed to them being unemployed. On top of sending them to crowded shelters??? Yea it doesn’t make sense. #SUsocialwork

A federal judge ruled that the CDC overstepped its authority by issuing a nationwide moratorium on evictions. The Justice Dept. has appealed to keep protections in place for millions of renters. trib.al/YzOS6nd

@jreed1201 As tired as I am of wearing the mask, I continue to do it for that light at the end of the tunnel for this pandemic. The importance of the vaccine and the mask could help to end this sooner rather than later.

With May being Mental Health Month, it's important to understand how powerful spoken words are and how big of a negative impact they can have on someone. Here's the suicide prevention hotline for anyone struggling: 1-800-273-TALK. #Susocialwork

It’s #MentalHealth Awareness Month, so here’s a reminder: Words are powerful. Words have lasting impacts on mental health + self-esteem. Words can contribute to internalized criticism that’s difficult to un-learn. Be aware. Be better.

Peer lead groups are an excellent method of person centered care. People hold knowledge that often goes unrecognized and is untapped. Peer lead groups can unleash that information. #SUsocialwork baltimoresun.com/education/bs-m…

@AnnieBennett_SU Our healthcare system is not only heartbreaking but infuriating. People are pushed away from seeking help because of the cost and it should not be that way.

@_mikaliartice I know a few people that still don't take COVID seriously and it's insane. As long as we take social distancing, masks, and vaccinations seriously, the numbers could start to lower.

@ArianaRuetten I think it's absurd that drivers aren't held accountable for that. Injuring protestors is not the answer. I agree, it just makes me shake my head.

Punishing protesters and protecting drivers that injure them? This is the wrong direction, y'all. Even though it says "accidental", I worry drivers who hurt protesters on purpose will benefit from this. #Susocialwork apnews.com/article/legisl…

These little ones are waiting for their vaccinations in Cameroon. COVID-19 has disrupted our daily lives but we mustn't let it disrupt our children's routine vaccines. #VaccinesWork

Child abuse continues to be a massive social problem in the U.S. and the pandemic has only made the circumstances worse for children who aren't able to feel safe or protected at school.
