@kizu_skip I doubt it will be anywhere near eva (literally nothing will come close outside the largest ips) but I don't think it will be forgotten at all. If anything I suspect it will hold a similar place to yyh, especially if tatsuki keeps writing.

@lAmTheWay It's defnitely good. It's just that I've seen way too many people get swept up by the hype and act like it's better than every Nasu story or the best VN ever made and so on.

Mahoyo is genuinely a bit overrated by some people.
It does indeed have some of the best visuals in the medium thanks to Monoji and great music.
But the way people talk about its story feels a bit much. It's good, but it doesn't blow Tsukihime or Fate out of the water.

The main thing I wanna see is removing the shield rps game. Make the shield a more secondary mechanic that can be strong in specific situations. Give it a more defined risk/reward structure as more of a read/commital defense option.

@kazjiree @raiden_isa I know but comparing one of the most expensive open world games to ZZZ is rife with issues still. Especially 2 years into the game.
Also, you need to consider the whole hoyo ecosystem. Regardless of if ZZZ is at a loss or not it has benefits to hoyo beyond merely its own profit.

@kazjiree @raiden_isa I highly doubt the game is bleeding them money at the very least. Even if it isn't necessarily profitable the other games most certainly are enough to cover it and it has several benefits to their ecosystem (at least until they make a new game to replace it).

@kazjiree @raiden_isa TBH, comparing the cost to create Genshin from scratch vs maintain zzz is a bit hard to make. Don't get me wrong its expensive but it should be nowhere near THAT expensive. Also these monthly revenues are deeply flawed metrics that miss SOOO much of their revenue.
