Question from a family member who works with the military - the guys were talking about playing golf and drinking transfusions and water hazards. I know what a transfusion is, but what is a water hazard?

@CoinPoker_OFF Eh. I once folded JTxx on KQ9cc after it went pot, repot and a call in front of me. I was up against a set, and JTcc so i was getting freerolled like i thought. That’d be a better spot to fold the nuts i would think

@labsarentbad @jamierkennedy @TheOpen Big generalisation! Try playing a British links at 6500 in the winter or spring or autumn, it's bloody hard work, 400yd holes play very very long into a cold winter breeze, let alone gale!

How different is the course pros play vs what members play?
Here's an example....
The 11th hole at Royal Lytham. The tee for @TheOpen is a full 140 yards behind the longest members tee!

@PokerJermz @lowstakesdre Hahaha my boys used to clown on me when i used to fold 88-TT UTG in live games.. especially cause i’m a psycho for the most part. But from all my experience there never really was much of a profitable outcome from that spot

But there are other options.

Have zero myself.
Seen 1 on a regulation course.
Seen 1 on a par 3 course.

Why it’s a good idea to play golf with me- or hang out with me. I have been present or have hung out with people who have had 9 hole in one’s. Today I spent the day at Mt Lake. My host gets a hole-in-one on the very last day the course is open. The course goes under restoration tomorrow!!! Last week it was an albatross on the MacKenzie Course at 21 Golf Club. Even saw one at Augusta National. I am a lucky charm!

Playing poker in Los Angeles is like being in a foreign country.
