I just heard my HoD describe himself as 'so short-sighted' to his year 9 class. He then revealed that his prescription is -5. It was all I could do not to run into the lab and laugh in his face. Try a -18.5 for size, then tell me how short-sighted you are!

This feels like a very specific warning sign!

@breadandposes Wiring a plug was in GCSE physics when I did it. Assume it was scrapped because plugs are all moulded now for safety.

As far back as 1947 there was a need for #Techognition! The Science Masters' Association recognised that 'the profession has been branded as a "blind-alley" occupation. It's sad how we are still fighting the sane battles!
