@CopperbeardTom The thing I've found is, Twitter seems exactly the same as it's always been except for people talking about moving over to all these other platforms. Like no doubt there's chaos behind the scenes but it just seems like nothing has changed functionally, site still runs fine etc

@CopperbeardTom Yes I did! But there was an input bug where I couldnt stop walking forward, so I stopped... But super funny given the witness's pretentiousness Def need to go back and finish, its surprisingly polished for what it is.

My ex got put on a magnesium drip for preeclampsia (13 years ago), but I guess getting strapped to the top of a launching rocket would've worked too?

@ceels I do love hard sci-fi & space opera, but newer stuff with some good queer rep have been my faves... Becky Chambers, Arkady Martine, Ann Leckie, NK Jemisin.

@lachiecox Oooh! what are your faves? Do you want new or old scifi? With nothing to go on, I recommend Primary Inversion by Catherine Asaro or Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky

@ceels @lachiecox I was about to recommend Children of Time. But I pretty much love everything by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Including the wacky 10 volume insect-human fantasy.
