If I say that they know what is going on, some people will attack me because many of them seem to be suffering from selective amnesia. I am from Oyo State, and I want to analyze this issue as an indigene who genuinely loves the state, not as a politician. When an explosion occurred in Ibadan, the state government described it as an accident caused by dynamites stored in a room. But did anyone ask the Oyo State Government where those dynamites were meant to be used? No. Who were the people found with the dynamites? Where exactly was the mining site? Months later, reports revealed that mining activities were taking place around the reserve forests near Old Oyo National Park. A few months ago, a man was k'lled in a village in Oriire Local Government Area, close to Igbeti. There were rumours that he was murdered because he discovered information related to illegal mining activities. Then, a few weeks later, the Nigerian Army and Police intercepted 40 bags of concealed explosive materials, including components that could be used for making IEDs, being transported in a DAF truck in Saki, Oyo State. If you ask me how close Saki is to these forest areas, I will tell you it is very close. In summary, the Oyo State Government either knows what is happening or has failed to understand what is happening within its territory. Either way, the people have been let down, just as Nigerians have often been failed by the Federal Government on matters of security.

Most importantly, Fayose made laws to BAN OPEN GRAZING in Ekiti, such that Fulani herders were not allowed to enter the State in the night and cattle rearers in Ekiti were identified. I remember when a pregnant woman was killed in Orin Ekiti Farm Settlement, Fayose summoned the stakeholders, including Fulani Leaders to the government house. Son of one of the Fulani leaders, Alhaji Abache was accused of being among those who killed the woman. Fayose mandated Alhaji Abache to produce his son within one week or leave Ekiti. Within three days, Abache brought the son. Like I have maintained, we can keep playing politics of emotions and sentiments with this issue of insecurity, especially in the South-West, when we are ready, we will hold our Governors accountable.

I boarded one korope to pack some chairs and table and charged me 10k. But to appreciate his efforts, I paid him 15k instead. When I got home I discovered that I forgot my original cord and power bank in his car. Luckily, it was an Opay account that I paid into, so I called him immediately and he promised to bring the cord and the powerbank the next day. Today makes it 5days, no cord, no power bank and he has stopped picking my calls. That’s an average Nigerian! Zero integrity

Two major surprises I got from the ongoing war against terrorism being jointly carried out by Nigeria and the US are one, the decimation of lakurawas in Sokoto. I never imagined that a huge terror organisation like that is receiving sanctuary in Sokoto. Two, the neutralisation of ISIS Number 2 man in Borno. I know that bokoharam is borno, but to ever imagine that number 2 most wanted terrorist on earth is also there remains a huge surprise to me. Whoever that is making Sokoto comfortable for Lukarawas and Borno habitable for ISIS will not know peace on earth, their departure from earth will not be painless, and their eternity shall be in agony!
