@Mrbankstips If a Nigerian policeman tries this, hmmm, the story would have changed. In fact, he may be fired... Just replace that Indian policeman with an RRS policeman in Lagos.

The difference is the doors and windows. No burglar proof. Makes it heavenly.

@Letter_to_Jack Same thing is happening at Kara to Long bridge outward Lagos on Lagos Ibadan expressway, backing traffic into Lagos.
Lagos police and traffic personnel are helpless because it didn't originate from their AOR...
Collaboration is key especially in the border areas...

People don’t understand bottlenecks and how frustrating they can be. Let me give you a real example:
Ogun State reconstructed a federal road in collaboration with Lagos State Government. About a year later, truck drivers began parking along the road at the toll section, both illegally and by exploiting grey areas of the law.
People complained endlessly about petrol and diesel tankers parking everywhere along the road. The complaints were escalated to the authorities.
The Governor directed TRACE (ogun State traffic management body) to remove all trucks from the road. They moved in to remove the trucks.
The truck drivers went to court and argued that TRACE has no authority over federal roads.
They won.
TRACE is appealing the judgement, but the trucks are still there.
People are still complaining, saying government has refused to do anything regarding the concerns raised over that spot. To them, government is not doing anything.
They don’t know that “people” have defeated government with technicalities. They used technicality to stop the system.

In 2010, former Lagos governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu warned Nigerians not to forget June 12 as Ibrahim Babangida prepared to run for president again.
According to P.M. News, Tinubu criticised Babangida’s presidential ambition, reminding people that the former military ruler presided over the annulment of the 1993 election widely believed to have been won by MKO Abiola.
Tinubu said many of those presenting themselves as democrats were the same figures who frustrated efforts to restore the mandate of the June 12 election. He urged Nigerians to resist Babangida’s return to power if he insisted on contesting.
Former EFCC chairman, Nuhu Ribadu, said the annulment nearly tore the country apart. He described it as an act of political corruption that robbed about 14 million Nigerians of their votes and triggered years of repression, exile and persecution of journalists and activists.
Ribadu added that the election, widely regarded as Nigeria’s freest, should never be trivialised and called for the immortalisation of Abiola.

Contrary to the claim, the DPO, never threatened to jail the said ‘friend’ or made any statement, infact both parties never met with the DPO before the tweet. The malicious and misleading tweet has unfairly damaged the reputation of the DPO and the Command. It is disappointing that such claims were made without any effort to verify the facts.
Update!!!
The said ‘friend’ brushed against a car that was parked for sale. He offered the sum of ₦30,000 for repairs; however, the car owner declined, stating that the type of repair proposed would reduce the value of the vehicle and amount to a loss on his part.
The car owner, who is a lawyer, demanded the sum of ₦500,000 for repairs and subsequently indicated his intention to pursue the matter in court, as both parties could not reach an agreement.
