It is a matter of great pride that 17-year-old Ms. Kyvalya Reddy from Nidadavolu, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, has been selected for the Global Astronaut Training Programme conducted by Titans Space Industries, Florida, USA, as part of their 2029 space mission to send astronauts into space. Earlier, at a very young age, she brought international recognition by discovering an asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter, making both the state and the nation proud. On behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, I wish her great success in this space training programme. Fauziyya Muhammad Auwal is currently a Master’s degree student in Physics at Kaduna State University, Kaduna (KASU) and a Research Fellow at Copperbelt University, with a special focus on Space Physics. Her deep passion for Astrophysics has fueled her commitment to research and academic excellence as an aspiring lecturer in the Department of Physics. Today, she has achieved an incredible milestone, selected as the First Nigerian Astronaut Candidate with Titans Space Industries. Congratulations once again, Fauziyya Muhammad Auwal.
