My guy in the UK 🇬🇧 is frustrated. He just gave me a long call now. His wife gave birth 5 months ago and hasn’t returned to work, saying she’s still healing. Oya nau, while at home, go for remote jobs to support the family she ignores that option. Rather she focuses on "content creation" on TikTok that isn’t paying, while he carries all the bills alone, plus a ₦350k monthly allowance for his mother-in-law. Now this same mother-in-law is threatening him for “pressuring” her daughter to work, while she's still nursing a baby. She even declines the suggestion of GP appointments to really confirm her health status. Saying she just needs some time. He's so confused at the moment because he sees other women that gave birth in the same UK, and they resume work after 3-6weeks while arranging a nanny to take over. All the house bills are currently on him, and his wife isn't making life any easy because he doesn't even know when she tends to get back to normal work. All she keeps telling him is "give me more time to heal"...

Since Nigeria ended fuel subsidy, Senegal, Cameroon, Niger, & Chad saw financial crisis. This is proof they were heavily benefiting from our cheap, smuggled fuel. Nigeria was practically subsidizing the entire West African region. The subsidy simply had to go.

This Nigerian lady who teaches at a school in Japan broke down the Japanese style of learning that makes them very intelligent and productive. I think this is smart learning. It will be helpful to Nigerian students, if it is adopted in our educational system.✍️

Russia moves to completely ban Visa and Mastercard The Central Bank of Russia has officially announced plans to fully remove Visa and Mastercard cards from the Russian market. “Our position is that cards of international payment systems should, of course, leave our market. They no longer perform the functions they used to provide,” stated Alla Bakina, head of the National Payment System Department.

The consequences of Trump's war with Iran have reached American schools: teachers are being laid off, educational programs are being cut The Hill newspaper reports in its article: "The rising costs of fuel and electricity caused by the war with Iran are forcing US public schools to reduce staff, cut educational programs, and cancel events. Schools across the country, faced with exorbitant bills for gasoline, diesel fuel, and electricity, are increasingly being forced to lay off teachers and support staff, cut programs and services, and cancel educational trips and sports competitions - just to be able to keep the lights on. As a result, about 50 million students are on the front line of the side effects of this conflict."

APC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES - I AM NOT SATISFIED 2026 APC Presidential Primary results Bola Tinubu = 10,999,162 votes Stanley Osifo = 16,503 votes 2018 Muhammadu Buhari - 14,842,072 General Elections - 15,191,847. So before the opposition begins to open its mouth and cry rigging - let it first sit down and learn. APC is a party seasoned in the furnace of democratic contest. Our culture of robust internal democracy has never been in doubt. That is a doctrine the opposition, fractured and fumbling, has yet to learn. But let the celebration be brief. For a man who knows where he is going does not sit down to admire the road. If 2018 is the pattern - and patterns, like proverbs, do not lie - then the votes attracted at a general election tend to mirror, with eerie faithfulness, what was gathered at the primaries. Buhari pulled 14.8 million in the primaries. He pulled 15.1 million at the poll. The margin of difference was negligible. Now Asiwaju has 10,999,162 from the primaries. And while none of the heavily fragmented, ideologically homeless, and perpetually bickering opposition parties can dream of fifty percent of that number in the general elections - there is still work to be done. I do not seek a mere victory. I crave a rout - overwhelming, incontestable, undebatable. The kind that silences the room before the last ballot is counted. 11 million votes in a general election is enough. Enough to win. But "enough to win" is not enough for me. I want a minimum of 15 million votes - so that the combined arithmetic of every baby politician on that ballot will not be sufficient to close the margin, scratch the lead, or feed the narrative.. Let there be no argument. Let there be no court case. Let the numbers speak so loudly that even the deaf concede. We must not give the opposition even the consolation of a close count. I will play my part. Will you? Good Evening, Severally.

I wasn’t drawn to this false narrative until yesterday. Please stop spreading this propaganda. What they were actually chanting was ‘Oki takeover’, not ‘Obi takeover’. This video is from Ode-itsekiri Ward 1, Warri South, where supporters of Hon. Augustine Uroye (popularly known as OKI), the APC lawmaker representing Warri South constituency 1 in the Delta State House of Assembly, was celebrating his victory in the party primary. They were jubilating for him to “take over,” calling his alias “Oki” not “Peter Obi.”

In church today, our pastor did the unthinkable. He was transferred to the parish about three months ago. Within that period, he noticed that some members had lost their babies because they chose to either deliver at home or in the church's maternity ward. Within the week, they lost a member to postpartum haemorrhage because she went to a traditional birth attendant when she had been offered a Caesarean section. The whole church was thrown into mourning. During the service, the atmosphere was very sober. The pastor, using the opportunity, asked them one simple question: "Can any of you show me in the Bible where God said a woman should not have a CS?" The whole church went quiet as a graveyard. But he continued. "Has any of you seen a Hebrew woman before?" He turned to some members: "You lost your baby last month because you insisted your wife must push, and you said it's the will of God. No, it's not. God does not desire that a woman and her baby should die through childbirth." "From today, no member should come to the church's maternity ward when in labour. Go to a hospital, where you can have an emergency CS if necessary. No member of this church should die a careless death henceforth." I don't think he will last in that parish – stray bullets hit some of the elders. But the truth must be told, no matter what.
