YouTube "inauthentic content" AI glitch is trending once again. Keep the pressure up guys! Keep RT people who have been hit. And let's also note that no major publication has yet to pick up this story. We know why... But it still has to be noted.

The Inauthentic Content policy was introduced in July 2025. YT told creators to stay calm & there'd be "no changes". 9 months later, mass demonetization happened. They could've warned targeted creators that they needed to change in 9 months, but no. They said "calm, no changes".

YouTube's "Inauthentic Content" policy is hitting established channels with no warning. What's happening: Channels with 4+ years of clean history are being demonetized overnight Appeals are getting rejected even when creators show full production workflows No specific explanation is given, just the label "Inauthentic Content" Creators can't reapply for 90 days Teams and salaries are at risk in the meantime

If this issue remains unresolved, I reserve the right to escalate this to an Out-of-Court Dispute Settlement body as per Article 21 of the DSA, and to report this case to the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).

My previous appeal was rejected without a specific or detailed explanation, which I believe is a mistake. As a creator based in the Netherlands (EU), I am exercising my rights under the Digital Services Act (DSA). Article 17.

My YouTube channel got wrongfully hit with “inauthentic content” and got demonetised. I’ve been working on my channel for 8 years. 300k subs. 150+ million views. This is my job, my income, the way I provide for me and my family. My appeal was denied. Please help me. @TeamYouTube

@chilldudeexp same here, i'm devastated. they've also denied my appeal. i create everything on my channel myself, yet they still call it inauthentic bc it seems "mass-produced". though it takes me days to make one video. i have 300k subs and this is my only source of income...

Update: 11 days later, and we are still demonetized. YouTube says they only flag "inauthentic" channels. But their system is taking down 100% original, human-made content. We spend HUNDREDS of HOURS drawing our animations from scratch. If your original hard work can randomly be labeled "inauthentic," and you are left stranded for almost two weeks trying to get a real human to review your proof, no creator is safe here. And now I got demonetized... YouTube just demonetized my channel Tricked Entertain for "inauthentic content" and I genuinely don't understand how that's possible. Every single video on this channel is 100% MANUALLY animated in Blender. Our team puts days into each video. This is not AI-generated. This is not spam. We've grown to 150,000 subscribers and 200 million views by making content that people genuinely love and now our revenue has been seized without warning. I submitted a detailed appeal explaining our full production process. It was rejected within hours. @TeamYouTube I'm asking you to take a real look at this. Not an automated review. A human one. Creators deserve better than this.
