BREAKING: FedEx driver who pleaded guilty to kidnapping and murdering 7-year-old Athena Strand, has been sentenced to death.
Tanner Horner snatched Athena while he was delivering a Barbie doll to her home in Paradise, Texas.
At one point during the trial, jurors broke down in tears while hearing audio of Horner killing Athena after he told her to take off her shirt and said she was "really pretty."
Athena repeatedly asked for her mother before she was killed.
"Horner is then heard asking Athena to remove her shirt, and there are several moments when she says "no" and asks for her mom. That was followed by repeated sounds of crying, screaming and banging," NBC reported last month.
Following three hours of deliberation today, Horner was sentenced to death by lethal injection.

I am grateful to the NBPA for advocating on my behalf and to the NBA for their fair decision. It was so important to me to be present for the birth of my daughter in December and I appreciate Mark, Jeanie, Rob, JJ, and the entire Lakers organization for fully supporting me and allowing me to travel to be there. This season has been so special to me because of what my teammates and I have been able to accomplish, and I am honored to have the opportunity to be considered for the league’s end-of-season awards.

-Second nine was better in ball striking but struggled around the greens. I left myself with doable up and downs on 11 12 13 but I just screwed them up. Hit some of my putts from off the green way too hard and couldn’t make the come backer.
-13 was interesting as I had some… stuff/sediment on my ball on the left side. It usually shoots out way right when that happens and I needed to make something happen so I went for it with a 7wd. Tried to draw it 20 yds but it came off super low and stayed really straight. Barely covered the creek to a decent spot but didn’t get up and down. Kind of a cool watch on the app.
-15 and 16 finally made a couple birdies. Would have been 3 in a row but missed a 4 footer on 17 🤦🏻♂️.
-Kinda glad the cut went to +4 so I don’t feel as bad about it lol

-MC Hammer called and unfortunately the Augusta Diaries come to an abrupt ending…
-I got off to a really poor start. Warm up wasn’t good and I think I let that hang over me for too long. Bogey on 1 is one thing and made a good par on 2 after a poor tee shot but the bogeys on 3 and 4 were really more mental than anything. They weren’t playing that difficult and I screwed it up. 3 especially. 😮💨
-I got into a much better mindset after 5 but I was too far behind the eight ball at that point. I’ll use this as a learning experience to get into the present moment quicker and be better the next time I’m in this situation.

-Today was kind of the big practice day for me. I warmed up and went to the back nine. Some guy named Rory went just ahead of me. I thought about asking to play together but I figured he wanted to play alone and I wanted to hit a lot of shots around the greens.
-Tried to hit a lot of chip shots with couple different clubs to see which club might be better and what not. Also hit a lot of the typical putts on the greens. Good thing about aimpoint is that I can write down pretty specifically on what % slope I think it is. Very useful especially with a lot of the putts coming from similar spots each yr. A guy like Phil had written down copious amount of notes in his yardage book.
-I hit the skip shot on 16. I can’t ever get myself to hit it hard enough because I’m afraid to not hit the water and hit one of the patrons. My caddie also tried it… he has the opposite problem. He hasn’t hit the water either time lol. Bunkers both times.
-Then hit a few more golf balls with my swing coach Sean Foley. Wasn’t too much different stuff. It’s a little tinkering of feels here and there but the big stuff doesn’t change.
