@emissions_api @UniOsnabrueck It's really nice to see old @prototypefund projects live on even years after the funded phase stopped. @emissions_api was a @prototypefund project in 2019.

Thanks to @UniOsnabrueck the @emissions_api got an infrastructure update to provide easy access to satellite-based emission data for another ~3.5 years to come 🎉

Usage of our self-service portal for virtual machines and Linux containers is ramping up. I may need more hardware soon 😁

@masfotografie It's nothing fancy. It's an old PowerEdge R620 with two Xeon E5-2680 (total 16 cores, 32 threads). It'll end up with a few TB of storage, plus some additional SSD (likely NVMe) storage. I'll probably leave the memory at 32 GB. Which should be more than enough for me :D
