When I met my wife in 2018, I was broke. Not the “managing somehow” type of broke, but the kind where every small expense mattered. She knew my situation from the start. The truth is, she was earning more than me and was far more stable financially.
But she never used it against me.
There were times she carried the financial responsibility quietly. If something needed to be paid for, she stepped in without making me feel less of a man. She never mocked my struggles or compared me to anyone. Instead, she believed in the man I was trying to become.
While she was holding things down, I was grinding, figuring life out, and trying to build something better for us.
Today, things are different. Life is more stable now, and I’m in a better place financially. But I never forget who stood beside me when things were rough.
Now she’s enjoying the rewards too. And honestly, she deserves every bit of it.

Long beep: "Are you blind/ Are you a learner?"
