@genosamuelgeno I think it was less butchered in the editing room than it is meant to be reflective of Laura's consistently disoriented mental state. That said, The Missing Pieces has some scenes that I absolutely wish had been included in the final cut

Lots of thoughts rn. Sheryl Lee is a one in a million talent. What also really strikes me is how obviously it was butchered in the editing room. So many times scenes and moments begin only for them to immediately dissolve into something else. Up next is either The Missing Pieces or a combined edit like Q2 or the Blue Rose Cut

@TotallyNotMark I think it's primarily functioning as a character study, not a plot-driven series. There is a plot of course, but it's secondary when it needs to be, and I think the show is better for it

Any else watching Pluribus? I think it’s a great show but lately I’m a little frustrated over how little of the story is advanced in certain episodes.

So far my main takeaway from Twin Peaks season 3 is that if I don't know what to say in a conversation I should just repeat the last two or three words the other person said

What a random mash up of stock images. Love how you can see nearly every era here. The super early Korra stuff vs the newer ATLA stuff. On the left the effort is made to make it look like an actual line up and then the right is just images anywhere they fit, lol

For the April 1978 Young Jump Award, Hirohiko Araki submitted a one-shot manga titled "Back in the Saddle Again" (鞍にかえろう), based on the song of the same name by Gene Autry. He submitted it using the pen name "Toshi Arakino". Since it didn't win, it was never published. The manga artist Norihiro Nakajima found the story interesting but criticized it for having poor art. @AirspeedPrime I'm not seeing too much pushback against it surprisingly. I like the idea; the 4 nations as a concept isn't intrinsic to the world, and hasn't been a thing for most of the Avatar's history. I think exploring a world where they don't exist could be really interesting.

So how badly is the fandom taking the info about the 4 nations possibly being no more in the next series? Based on the past life reaction I assume not well. I think the premise is absolutely fascinating. I really respect the idea of really changing things going into a new era.
