@TeeHallums @art_jake Personally, took more notice of what appeared to be dishonesty. There are countless folks who use Gen Ai but I don’t sound off on them. This came from a sense that he was trying to have his cake and eat it too. Avoiding accountability while pushing blame onto others.

@EmperorBigD Dude… as a consistent presence on the internet, the only way you wouldn’t know this is AI would be if your eyes were closed when you chose it :/ This feels impossibly difficult to believe.

Ugh... as much as it sucks to say, I will shamefully admit it that I have fallen for AI trickery a few times recently. There are times where I can very easily tell if an image is AI but there's others where I've been fooled. I suppose part of it is me not thoroughly checking the image, which I need to probably be more thorough about, but AI is also getting better.

Tyson’s right. It’s one thing to claim that you didn’t know this was AI (despite it looking more like AI than any image I’ve ever seen). But to throw another artist under the bus and go right back to AI art is a bad look. Absolute best case, this is negligent/ignorant.

One of the coolest artistic choices made in the new Avatar Aang movie was how the art team incorporated transillumination. The reddish hue given off when light passes through thin tissue. It's so simple but adds so much.

@TotallyNotMark You guys are completely missing the point. In manga the elft half depicts yang (light) and the right is yin (darkness) the shading here is done to show that aang's light is in darkness. This series is based on the same Taoism thst anime/manga are. When will westerners see it man

Y’all don’t understand what sort of a flex this is. Each frame is a stupidly difficult perspective and pose. To be able to draw one frame is super talent but being able to stitch it all together into a single animation is madness.
