Texas Democrat U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico @jamestalarico continues misleading voters on key policy positions.
In 2021, State Rep. Talarico bragged that his bill mirrored Joe Biden’s Green New Deal mandates and attacked Texas fossil fuel companies, saying:
“There are vested interests in our state, CEOs of big giant fossil fuel companies that don’t want to see any action on climate change… I want us to own the 21st century in renewable energy.”
However, earlier this year, Talarico pretended he never tried to impose Biden’s Green New Deal on Texas, claiming:
“Well, I mean, those public schools I was talking about earlier, they were funded by the oil and gas industry. So, I owe everything to this industry…And so the idea that politicians in Washington think they can just eliminate this industry, it’s something we’re going to have to fight against.”
Since Talarico literally authored a climate change bill, it’s obvious his real energy policy is pro-Green New Deal.
Earlier, we exposed Talarico’s blatant lies about his border policies.
Now Talarico is on record deceiving Texas voters on energy and the border policies.
Talk about disqualifying behavior.

In February, Talarico called for tearing down ICE: “There is a secret police force (ICE) terrorizing our neighbors all over the state and all over this country… It is time to tear down this secret police force.” But in January, Talarico said: “The Biden administration failed us on our southern border.” It’s ideologically impossible to oppose Biden’s pro-open border policies while simultaneously pushing to abolish ICE. Given Talarico’s obsession with woke issues like trans rights, it’s clear he’s an open-borders radical. It’s shameful that Talarico is lying to voters about his real positions on border security. This alone should disqualify him in the eyes of Texas voters.

The anti-alcohol stuff has become totally hysterical. It’s the worst and the gayest of the 90s anti-smoking propaganda all over again. Give up alcohol if you want but the stuff isn’t battery acid. A sip won’t send you to the hospital. A glass of wine ruined three days of your life? When did it become normal and acceptable for men to brag about their weak constitutions? Really weird.
