@danidonovan (the above are preventative meds, for meds to end a current migraine, I've had good luck with sumatriptan and moderate luck with a naproxen/prochlorperazine combo)

@danidonovan Many insurances will want you to start on older meds like topirimate and amitriptyline before getting to the newer, better meds. I had the worst anxiety of my life on topirimate, but after failing that and minimal benefit from other meds, I got on Qulipta which has helped

@JacksonDavis399 This is why I have two Twitter accounts. Like during the hurricanes, my professional account became all hurricane stuff, but this one stayed normal nerdfighter stuff, and was a good escape when I got too doom scroll-y

On one hand I definitely will need to be not on Twitter on election night on the other hand I need to be on Twitter when the first rankings release so this is quite a conundrum

@hankgreen There's a few reasons! 1) fast forward speed and high starting intensity. It will still weaken over land 2) beginning extratropical transition peocess. This is too complicated to explain in a single tweet but basically this process will help Milton hang onto some of its energy

The fact that Milton is projected to /exit/ Florida as a hurricane has me pretty shook.

This is the last time I try a new frozen meal for dinner before lab. The gnocchi and pesto I had tonight was fine, but I would have been so much happier with one more my usual go-to flavors

@BeeLucidity Ooof that does not sound great. It only takes getting a few miles inland to get away from surge - definitely follow your county's emergency management's directions if you can. And I'm definitely happy to answer meteorology questions about the storm if that helps with anxiety!

@BeeLucidity (checking in as nftwt's meteorologist) how bad is bad? Are we talking "mobile home in a storm surge zone" bad or a "I live in Central Florida" still not ideal but also definitely not as bad? Hurricanes are scary, but also the bigger impacts are usually downed limbs and flooding
