Each member of The Assembly told us of deeply personal memories relating to smells from their past, and the triggers that prompt those reflective moments.

After lunch, Victoria Moore @PlanetVictoria hosted a fascinating discussion with The Assembly members on the subject of Scents & Sensibilities. A fascinating subject in a world where much discussion is about what AI can do for us: but can’t replicate our sense of smell or taste.

Last week’s gathering of The Last Drop Assembly at @TheConnaught was the first gathering of all Founder Members and a timely reminder both of the importance of meeting in person, and of the pleasure of sharing: sharing knowledge, conversation, food, wine and remarkable spirits.

Just as we pride ourselves on curating remarkable spirits, this was an opportunity to curate a gathering of some of the most remarkable people in this wonderful industry, to taste and celebrate some of The Last Drop’s releases, alongside delicious food and wine at @TheConnaught.
