Hank Drew (28, GA) muscles this one down the right field line and it gets in the corner for a triple. XL frame with lots of strength throughout. #ACGames@PG_Georgia
Hank Drew (@hankdrew10) turns on this one, keeping it fair down the right field line. Hustles his way into a triple to leadoff the inning during day 2 of the Underclass @AreaCodeBSB Games.

2030 INF Nolan Drew with an all fields approach this morning for BP.
Mature approach. Really controls the barrel. Level path through the zone.

‘28 C Hank Drew (GA) one hops the RCF wall here for another loud barrel on the weekend. Doesn’t get cheated & comes off super easy, mature AB’s all week. #BeastOfTheEast@PG_Georgia@PG_Uncommitted
‘28 Hank Drew (GA) blasted a home run out to center. Simple load and violent swing. Creates good hand separation and fires backside through. @PG_Tennessee#BeastOfTheEast

Future every day MLB catcher or corner IF with All-Star potential. Offensive profile shows all characteristics to be a future A/AVG (55) or better hit tool w/ AVG or better Power Pro. Multidimensional approach pitchers can’t plan for, unpredictable. Just as likely to go 1st pitch 💣 as he is 12 pitch BB. Quarterback of the defense - advanced pitch calling, receiving, awareness. Great communicator, knows hitter’s tendencies. 1.98 to 2.05 pop times in game this spring.
What makes him a future 55 or better bat?
•Pro Approach - Cover the outer half, react inside
•Elite pitch recognition, accurate processing+decision making, natural and trained adjustability
•Controls effort in swing like a pro, never taking undisciplined 100% hacks. Stays 70-85%.
•Head/eyes stay down on ball thru contact
•Lets ⚾️ travel - Backside dominant hitter (head stays stacked over inside of back hip). More time to process movement+location & more time to react.
•Rare swing mechanics - Ability to turn barrel in compact space, precise adjustability for each pitch location (shoulder planes, swing direction, arm adjustments). Elite top hand+back shoulder connection, elbows work close to body, shoulders always on pitch 🛬
•Rare hand-eye coordination
•Rare timing - When to move & be in position to hit relative to pitchers delivery, great feel for location based contact points
•Quickly understands pitcher’s approach vs him & tendencies
•Walks twice as much as he K’s
•50% oppo, 50% pull batted ball profile
•Exceptional with 2 strikes. Wastes pitches with ease
•Perfect hitter mindset. QAB’s & barrels over hits, not results based
•Confidence is unwavering
•OUTLIER MLB bloodlines
Top-seeded Lowndes wasted no time setting the tone in Friday's playoff opener, pairing a 15-run offensive outburst with a one-hit gem on the mound to sweep Mountain View.

2028 C Hank Drew is a definite N2K in @PrepBaseballGA sophomore class.
Projectable 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame with big-league bloodlines.
Minimal chase with present feel for the barrel in an all-fields approach.
Breakout spring OTW.

Nearly brought the rain on a calm Winter day at lakepoint with 4 🚀 into the pine trees @ #WFWeekend that went as high as they did far.
6’2 205. Textbook lower half sink allows him to drive baseball on incline for easy loft. Compact load (inward w/ core+elbows+back) brings quick, highly efficient turn w/ thump. Repeatable rhythm, timing, and standout body ctrl.
Expect plus raw power to show up before he leaves HS. BP doesn’t do the hit tool justice. There’s very little whiff in game where he takes what’s given and runs up pitch counts. 2.0 - 2.1 pop times, ran 7.5. MLB🩸lines, nowhere near physical maturity.

🚨 Sleeper Alert 🚨
6’1 200. The purest hitter you’ve never heard of, and most underrated in the baseball rich 🍑 state. Approach, ability to control effort, PR, and bat 2 ball are all rare. Quiet+repeatable move years ahead of time. Gradual sink against stride creates ideal weight distribution (head over inside of back hip. lands there & swings from there) for automatic loft. Elite swing direction, on-plane efficiency. 2.0 pops in game. Pro bloodlines, dad 12 yrs MLB.
