"I think wolverine researchers have to be tenacious, just like wolverines," says @WCS_Canada's Matt Scrafford to @TVOdocs. "They live in very wild, inhospitable environments, so in order find them, you really have to be stubborn." #GreatLakesUntamed bit.ly/3dIQCAW

Wildfires more frequent and intense in Ontario this year.
"My fear," says @WCS_Canada's Connie O'Connor, "is that these fires are going to get to the stage where it is too much for animals' natural adaptations to fire to handle any more." #ClimateCrisis

New paper today! The long-awaited test of our warning system. Large animals fled from trains 6.5 s (62%!) earlier when warned than otherwise. This extra time could reduce wildlife deaths from train collisions.

I truly hope one day as a society that we can appreciate human diversity and the unique display of identity as much as we do with the biodiversity of the natural world and all the wildlife we are so greatly enamored with, it would be wonderful to witness. #sciencetwitter

As biologists, we're very lucky to spend a lot of time in nature. The reason that we can do the work we do is because people decided to #AdvocateForScience and #protectwildplaces. We appreciate all the ways that you help!
