@Britpopmemories What a track listing. Purely for personal reasons I’ll have to go for The Universal but there are plenty of belters on there.

30 years ago today, the latest edition of the “Best…In The World…Ever” was released. What’s the best track on it? I might go with “Stutter” by Elastica.

@alan_alh Here’s another I heard on the radio earlier, in the last five years Arsenal have won one game in April. That was Sporting Lisbon. Not checked it but they rattled through the results on air.

@Britpopmemories ‘We should have killed the monkey that evolved to this’ Love this lot. The Big 3 is the only CD I still have because my dad spent ‘hours’ looking for it in London for me for a Xmas gift after I’d read in MM or NME that they might be the new Oasis.

Perhaps when Donald Trump completes his term of office in 2029, just in time for our general election, he will be able to help out here. He would certainly be more energetic than Sir Keir.

@alan_alh Why not hook him and leave Ode on for another 20mins to see if he can change the direction with the opposition tiring?

@lawnsower Mate he don’t trust him , had hardly any minutes in PL so the mistake was made not getting someone in January Rice and Zubi have to play every minute, poor squad planning

@sainsburys Any danger of selling Easter cards with a religious motif? BR1 store has 2 cards, with rabbits. The Easter display has been ‘removed’ - it’s not even Easter yet. Happy to take my money for chocs and lamb the farmers have no doubt been ripped off for but no Easter card

This is like an FA cup tie where Japan are a mid table Premier League team and England are a mid table Championship side who just aren’t good enough to break down the Prem team who are very relaxed and organised defending their lead ahead of a bigger game to come #ENGJAP

I just saw this on Facebook, and thought that it's worth a #SundayShare. Are we in danger of making everything so professional that we forget about fun? For me enjoyment is always the top priority, if it isn't enjoyable, why would kids play football.

@henrywinter It may be sold out, however I expect there to be a near 50:50 split of England and Japan fans.

England v Japan, second game of the "Send-off Series" at Wembley, is sold out. Some players are out. Fans are all in. Game a mix of the familiar and the fringe. Jordan Pickford's 82nd cap takes him into the top 20 of England's all-time appearance-makers. Pickford goes past Rio Ferdinand and alongside Raheem Sterling as joint 19th. Pickford so important, probably not fully appreciated, but definitely one of Tuchel's untouchables. (Dean Henderson and James Trafford good 2 and 3, though Trafford needs to address his lack of many club minutes over the summer). Ezri Konsa and Marc Guehi surely return in central defence, flanked by Tino Livramento on the right and Nico O'Reilly on the left. (Lewis Hall deserves some more minutes from the bench to show what he can do at left-back). In central midfield, James Garner did well on his debut against Uruguay and is surely worth another look. Elliot Anderson first choice now so worth assessing Garner with him in absence of Declan Rice, who has returned to Arsenal. Garner offers plenty in and out of possession, also versatile, can cover at right-back, too. (Kobbie Mainoo will also be pushing for involvement). Upfront of the likely 4-2-3-1, absentees on the right surely leads to a start for Jarrod Bowen. Morgan Rogers at 10 (and Jude Bellingham coming on) and Anthony Gordon left. Harry Kane returns up top looking for his 79th goal in his 113rd appearance. Ahead of Kane are Steven Gerrard (114), David Beckham (115), Wayne Rooney (120) and Peter Shilton (125). 16: max numbers of games England could play this year after Japan, inc run to final (*) and 6x Nations League games. Kane could match or pass Shilton this year. Remarkable player. #ENG *ambitious.

@StanCollymore Wellbeck has got a squad place for the summer whilst sat on a sun lounger somewhere, lack of cohesion as expected with so many new partnerships/units, Rashford flatters to deceive again, play a left back at left back for goodness sake & ref is lucky no one got seriously hurt.

Sending my love to @dannykellywords after his news today. Without you Dan I wouldn't have been able to fulfill my love of sports broadcasting, to share a lot of fun, laughter and superb times working together. To say I'm gutted, devastated and anxious doesn't even scratch the surface. But I KNOW you'll come through the other end safely. You did a lot for men generally today by encouraging others to get checked, a mark of the man that while processing personal news you still have others in mind. And to echo Danny's words today, especially to men and even more so for men of a certain vintage, if feel something's off, please go to the Dr.

@dannykellywords Ahh Danny. You bring me so much joy with your wit and dynamism, not to mention huge knowledge, when you join me in the car or kitchen through the wireless. Wishing you a full and subsequently healthy recovery. Look forward to hearing your dulcet tones again when you’re your well.
