@lawoha @ClonesCyclone So if the result of anyone in sport caught using any banned substance was a lifetime ban surely that would be a good deterrent
English

Yeah Mike but he’s a cheat, he’s been caught using PED’s and in my estimation he should never be allowed to fight again. My belief is if your caught using performance enhancing drugs you should be banned for life. It’s the only way.

@ClonesCyclone @anthonyjoshua Ortiz would be a safe bet but the Miller fight for some bad blood. I am sure Miller has his license back.

@Leemorson3 @ClonesCyclone Yes Lee I am looking at all sport rather than boxing. Boxing, like the rest, has a huge problem and the bodies controlling them do not do enough.
English

@lawoha @ClonesCyclone You’ve took it the wrong way All Peds in any sport should lead to a life time ban but the topic was about boxing how by a boxer taking Peds can not only damage their self but the other boxer seriously My example of using Johnson was to show he’s only doing himself harm no 1 else
English

@Leemorson3 @ClonesCyclone Equally dangerous in all sports as it is the unseen damage particularly at the amateur levels. I wouldn’t single out boxing.
English

@lawoha @ClonesCyclone What is it that you don’t agree with ?
English

@Leemorson3 @ClonesCyclone I can’t say I totally agree. In all sports where to the PEDs come from? Are they safe? Who administers them? What long term damage do they do? At what age do kids start taking them(a form of child abuse)? As for boxing, all the above plus the immediate health risks are higher
English

@ClonesCyclone I totally agree Barry There’s a massive difference as an example of a track athlete like Ben Johnson taking peds to win a race but Ben Johnson can only harm himself if a boxer takes peds he could actually do serious life threatening damage to an opponent. Life ban for me

@Natglenn_1 @Lydiardsboys To quote Tommy ‘it’s a pity we don’t live closer to each other, there would be the beginnings of a training group’
English

@lawoha You must be the only person that gets up earlier, and runs longer than Tommy Hughes in their first run of the day. Lydiard would be proud of you @Lydiardsboys well done at weekend mate.
English

After two races at the weekend, today’s session was a bit harder than normal. Still managed 400m * 10 at 65 secs. Followed that with some plyo. I may have to have a nap today! #running #workout #fitness #earlymorning

Beautiful day for race. 53mins 48 secs not bad for a 10 miler! Always good to finish strong. Great running by @nbharriers to take the team win.
