Although the presidential election did not go the way that I had hoped, I do want to give a congratulations to Ellen Rosenfeld and her campaign for Chicago Board of Education in District 4. I also want to thank the 44th Ward precinct captains and volunteers who worked tirelessly to support our local Democrats (and secure the highest turnout of any Ward in the city at 81%). Nevertheless, we fight on!

As of 9am today, Early Voting has started in Chicago! Residents can vote early at any early voting location in the city (regardless of if it’s your ward), or the super site downtown. Our 44th Ward early vote site is Merlo Library, located at 644 W Belmont. Please get out to vote on or before Election Day, and for more information on early voting head to chicagoelections.gov.
