It should be a no-brainer but you should be checking your logo concepts before you pour your heart and soul into selling them to a client. The three places that I check before I even think about mocking them up: 1. Google Lens Google Lens has three modes: "All", "Exact", and "Visual Match" If it an identical match doesn't appear on Google Lens I move onto the next one. 2. Pinterest Pinterest is the goat for inspiration and IMO has the largest collection of concepts on the internet. Click the camera in the search bar, upload your concept, and hope 15 images of the exact same concept don't appear. 3. WIPO Global Brand Database Usually you're safe at this point but I always check the trademark database as not every company is popular enough to appear on Google or Pinterest. On WIPO you can search an image for "Conceptual Similarity", "Shape Similarity", and "Color Similarity". I usually only Conceptual on WIPO, but be aware that by default WIPO will show you trademarks of all status, including expired.

Is there any way to remove inactive/dead followers on X?

Fair point honestly, but there’s no deeper context behind this one. It was more of a quick practice sprint to stay sharp with layouts. I’ve been trying to post more consistently so sometimes that means sharing work that isn’t tied to a client or a project. Maybe something like this could work for a photographer’s site, but I didn’t design it with that in mind and don’t want to force meaning onto it after the fact just to make it feel more intentional. Still appreciate the feedback though. I’ll keep it in mind for projects that do have a clearer intent behind them 🙌

@layoutguy Looks cool but what’s it for? First mistake, not sharing the context. Whats a client supposed to know if it serves a purpose for them? Beautiful yes, but always think about the people you want to attract.

You can not expect to share your work once and be seen by everyone with these algorithms anymore. Share it at least 3 or 4 times a week or even more. It does not matter if your followers have seen it before, they are rarely your target audience. Music artists promote their albums daily! You can not complain about a lack of work if you are only sharing once a week!

@layoutguy The algorithm isn’t against anyone. It’s just what it is. People just need to expect sometimes work it’s sometimes it doesn’t. Just keep sharing.
