This week's #TeamOfTheWeek is the Acute Oncology Team who co-ordinate service and improve care for cancer patients requiring urgent support. The team do this by supporting the treating teams, patients and their families at the earliest opportunity. #ThankYou for all you do 💙

ULHT team of the week is our very own Oncology Assessment Unit 🎉 we are so proud of our team. Avoiding hospital admissions where possible for our cancer patients. A well needed and well used service. Stay tuned for stats since our opening in winter 2019 #cancerservices

Scanxiety is real!!! Supporting patients who are awaiting scan results, especially within an acute oncology circumstance can always be a challenge 💚

Today we said goodbye (with pizza and flowers)to our wonderful consultant who came back post retirement to support us through the pandemic. It was fabulous having her back on the team, she will be greatly missed but we hope she can now relax and enjoy once lockdown lifts!

Are there medicine trolleys that use code locks instead of keys? Not sure if these would work but would help reduce the issues with misplaced keys or hunting for who has the keys.
