@bcardarella Thx for the tip about beads. I’ve been working in a similar way the past month or so. Has some good, some bad, but mostly good in my experience. Definitely has been a major upgrade in my productivity & code coverage has gotten a boost. Really nice to have the LLM iterate via TDD

It costs me $0.11 to have Claude write a commit message and push. I think the push probably is like 4 cents. Still not super happy about that part but I've written zero actual code in over a month and have been forcing myself to do everything over LLM. So far, the results are mostly postive. If you haven't seen it, you need to use beads: github.com/steveyegge/bea… It's been a game changer on managing session states. I can drop out of @opencode and don't have to continue the previous context. Beads gets me back on track quickly.

There's a new class-action lawsuit filed against Apple by some developers, including Proton. Given Epic's success in the same district, I think Apple would be right to be worried. The bill for years of abuse is finally coming due in a big way. proton.me/blog/apple-law…

@thatstraw IPv6 has a similar behavior - in each field of you can omit leading zeros and if you’ve got some consecutive fields of 0000 you can omit all of them

Just found out something neat by accident 😂 Turns out, if an IP address has a 0 in one of its octets (like 10.20.0.2), you can omit the zero and still reach the same host! So 10.20.2 works the same as 10.20.0.2

A while back, I heard a tip about using the Shortcuts app to create an automation that will turn your volume down anytime you open certain apps. I’ve had this set up for a while on TikTok, Instagram, etc and it’s great - no more surprise loud videos!
