I updated to macOS Tahoe and got the new liquid glass UI. The corners are now even more rounded and I'm finding it just looks tacky at this point? From my perspective the OS gained no functionality and became worse looking, probably uses more system resources 🤦♀️

@Love2Code Apple ships excellent hardware but horrible software. My favorite is if a timer goes off on my phone while i’m listening to music on my headphones the volume is suddenly significantly louder for no good reason, this does not seem like a hard thing to fix.

@justBCheung @elithrar @astral_sh nvim, opencode and tmux is a satisfying and snappy workflow once you get a hang of the key bindings.
one of the nice things is if nvim is missing something you want just go to your config and ask opencode to add it in for you. nvim can come very close to an ide.

I don’t change tools often (don’t have time for that) but 2025 was a big update:
• Zed (replaced VSCode)
• Ghostty (vs. iTerm 2)
• opencode (bounced around a few agents this year given the pace)
* atuin + fzf
* and @astral_sh’s uv has me writing Python again.
