@DJSnM @DJSnM Hi Scott! I am the first author of the study. It took us about 10 years to get to this discovery. It is an interesting story made of failures and successes. But you are right data was there just waiting for this analysis. If you want to chat in detail, I am available.

I’m sure everyone has heard about the lunar caves paper by now, but, one thing a lot of the coverage has missed is that this is based on radar data from LRO that was captured back in 2010, the data has been sitting around waiting for this analysis. nature.com/articles/s4155…
