@jonnittiFGC No dive kick doesn't count lol

@ndr222999 @Necrofamicon @kohakoobs Yes, that is how I started watching anime in the first place in the 90s as a kid
English

@Necrofamicon @kohakoobs 面白いから見ようはわかるのですがいきなり海外でアニメ見てとかマンガでもゲームでも勧められてやりますかね?

I have a doujin from Japan on which it literally says "Do not resale, do not copy, do not take pictures even of the front page. If you're done with the doujin, dispose of it"

@JJB_TAP @maximilian_ Can't open up the command menu? Also every single modern fighter has a " Simple" mode that does the combos for you.
English

@maximilian_ (2) Like I don't need a manual to know how to play a first person shooter.
I don't even need a manual or read menus for RTS/Mobas. I might like need to learn build orders or openings. But everything in the game is intuitively in my control
Can't really say that for fighting games
English

Been saying it since 2015. If a game is just simplified, it's 2x as easy for new players, but 10x easier for experienced players. If a game has characters you love, doing cool stuff together/against each-other, people will justify reasons to keep playing at any level.
Dotodoya@DotoDoya
Another reminder that fighting games will NEVER be casual friendly. Change a million things about the genre, some for the better, but humans HATE losing. The only sure way to make a fighting game grow with casuals is to make it so cool that they want to push through the pain.
English

@Jyphr6 @maximilian_ No one plays injustice or MK, Strive has auto combos that you can toggle on and Avatar isn't even released.
English

@maximilian_ You’re wrong, If a game has a simple controls mode with auto combos, the game is going to be hard to get into and actually understand, people will keep playing if they love the characters ofc, but there’s a reason games like Mk, strive, injustice, and avatar have casual appeal
English

@afall40 @maximilian_ Why would it be easier in a low skill game? People who practice beating people who don't is natural
English

@maximilian_ Short-term, yeah but long-term, it's impossible to hang with sweats in a high-skilled game
English

@AZNFontana @packy34 @maximilian_ Literally no one would be talking about it. I agree Riot needs to market their projects more but saying the game is over complicated is straight up false.
English

@packy34 @maximilian_ 2XKO over complicated it and undermarketed it to shit. I guarentee if they literally just reskinned Rising Thunder with simplified characters and launched with double the roster size it wouldve done 100x better

@GandeeJeffrey @acatnamedclyde2 @thechosenberg Because he's tired and burnt out and just wants to cuddle with his spouse at home he is not worthy of respect?
English

@lcklust3 @acatnamedclyde2 @thechosenberg ...but this doesn't make the case, and it actually points to the possibility that the man has priorities that aren't worthy of respect.
English

@GandeeJeffrey @acatnamedclyde2 @thechosenberg remove the breadsticks for a second. Your wife asks you what want to do on your birthday. You tell her exactly what you want to do. She ignores everything you said and makes plans you specifically told her you did not want to do. What about any of that shows respect?
English

@lcklust3 @acatnamedclyde2 @thechosenberg Maybe she respects him fine, but not so much the side of him that doesn't want to go on a nice date with her. Maybe she thought he was a better dude than the one who put his foot down over breadsticks. IDK. If respect is an issue outside the breadsticks, fine...
English

@GandeeJeffrey @acatnamedclyde2 @thechosenberg You literally just listed out what OP did and she still ignored him and made plans he never asked for. You are never getting this shared experience, she doesn't respect you.
The metaphorical "you" not actually "you" I have no idea what your wife is actually like.
English

@lcklust3 @acatnamedclyde2 @thechosenberg Because I'd set a date and a place and clearly communicate its a time I'd like to share with her, just as she wanted to share this nice dinner with me. This is just normal husband/wife shit.
English

@GandeeJeffrey @acatnamedclyde2 @thechosenberg What leverage? If she ignored your plans this time why would she go with your idea next time?
English

@lcklust3 @acatnamedclyde2 @thechosenberg I'd go out with my wife and have fun. I might use my leverage in the situation to secure a future date to a good brewery or something, but to be frank, I wouldn't get bent out of shape enough to even care.
English

@GandeeJeffrey @acatnamedclyde2 @thechosenberg I'd agree if she didn't literally ignore everything he said after asking him what he wanted to do. I love my wife and will drop my plans for her, but if she'd just outright ignore my plans after she asked me, I would cancel and chill on my own as well.
English

@acatnamedclyde2 @thechosenberg My wife could do this on every birthday and I wouldn't care. Maybe part of what's bugging me is that this dude doesn't have the priorities you'd expect to see in a good husband. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but he's acting like a whiny kid...
