I tried deadlock finally after not looking at it for months, I uh... I don't get it at all. I've only played a bit of it and very little mobas otherwise but as a shooter game I just feel like I don't deal any damage and the enemies have more HP, damage, and healing than I do.

@maximilian_ (2) Like I don't need a manual to know how to play a first person shooter. I don't even need a manual or read menus for RTS/Mobas. I might like need to learn build orders or openings. But everything in the game is intuitively in my control Can't really say that for fighting games

Been saying it since 2015. If a game is just simplified, it's 2x as easy for new players, but 10x easier for experienced players. If a game has characters you love, doing cool stuff together/against each-other, people will justify reasons to keep playing at any level.

@Jyphr6 @maximilian_ No one plays injustice or MK, Strive has auto combos that you can toggle on and Avatar isn't even released.

@maximilian_ You’re wrong, If a game has a simple controls mode with auto combos, the game is going to be hard to get into and actually understand, people will keep playing if they love the characters ofc, but there’s a reason games like Mk, strive, injustice, and avatar have casual appeal

She ignores everything you said and makes plans you specifically told her you did not want to do. What about any of that shows respect?

I love my wife and will drop my plans for her, but if she'd just outright ignore my plans after she asked me, I would cancel and chill on my own as well.
