@MugenLord Steam has contingencies in place to release purchased games to users in the event the platform ever goes offline. A "physical" Nintendo cartridge that will inherently nuke itself when the eShop goes down has no such protections.

You know what confuses me about the entire Nintendo Keycard outrage? Most of the people I know that are outraged about it, play their entire game library on steam.
Your entire gaming experience is digital, so what's the outrage about it? Why does it matter that much about physical media when you don't own anything physical to begin with?

Been saying it since 2015. If a game is just simplified, it's 2x as easy for new players, but 10x easier for experienced players. If a game has characters you love, doing cool stuff together/against each-other, people will justify reasons to keep playing at any level.

Another reminder that fighting games will NEVER be casual friendly. Change a million things about the genre, some for the better, but humans HATE losing. The only sure way to make a fighting game grow with casuals is to make it so cool that they want to push through the pain.

With how you guys treat trophies and achievements? I’m glad Nintendo doesn’t do them. The toxicity around them is gross with how they’re weaponized against gamers today. Clearly against Nintendos philosophy.

La mayoría de los juegos de Nintendo se basan en: Recoge 999 estrellas, 999 bananzas, completa la Pokédex, encuentra 999 Kollogs… 3. Los temas no los meten tampoco por que no les da la gana, no por que no entren en la filosofía de Nintendo. Estuvieron en anteriores consolas y con Switch no quieren currárselo ni monetizándolo. Ahorraos también lo de “es que YO no los necesito por tanto no quiero que los metan” ya Jose Manuel, son opcionales y están para quien los quiera, no muerden ni hacen daño a nadie. Que nos den más nunca estará mal.
