CONGRATULATIONS to East Elementary and South Elementary, named APPLE DISTINGUISHED SCHOOLS! Apple Distinguished Schools are known as centers of innovation, leadership, and educational excellence. They use Apple technology to connect students to the world, fuel creativity, deepen collaboration, and make learning personal. As Apple Distinguished Schools, these two campuses join the ranks of just 26 schools in Texas (including our own Central Elementary, West Elementary, and Laura Bush Middle School), and just 728 schools in 36 countries worldwide! The process of achieving Apple Distinguished School status is challenging, and we are so incredibly proud of these campuses, their teachers and administrators, and their Digital Learning Specialists for all that they have poured into earning this distinction, and, more importantly, ensuring our students are met with innovative learning environments that consistently exceed the standard!
