If I have one hope for humanity, if there is one thing I would gladly die for, it's that one day each individual realizes they have inside of them an insane power, an ability to manipulate their reality to their will. To create their own meaning of their life, to be the author of their own story. This is usually suppressed by skepticism, conformism, and narrow-minded people that get off on keeping creative, agentic, and ambitious people down, because it threatens their own insecurity. The bitter and jaded have convinced themselves of falsehoods to soothe their own ego, and are intent on converting others to that sour view. It doesn't have to be that way. Each person has creative potential, an imagination, dreams they would love to see come to life. The conditions of the modern world have for a long time been engineered to stifle this: the 9-to-5, artificial scarcity of things like housing and energy through bad governance keeping people treading water, barely afloat, bad food, bad water, and more than anything, narratives of fear that keep people feeling powerless, helpless, and afraid. Fuck all that noise. That world is ending. The greatest export of science is not technology but freedom from fear of the unknown and the joy of discovery. These teach us to let go of our fears and embrace the future with curiosity, knowing that we are the sense-makers of the world, and the meaning of our actions is up to us to determine. There is no obstacle humanity cannot overcome in our pursuit of truth, harmony, and abundance. In each of us there is the spark of the divine, of the creator, cut from the same cloth of universal laws that animate the cosmos. The power of creation is our birthright and I am confident in the coming years one we will learn to wield to reach ever greater heights.

@DamienRieu C'est une priorité : le réchauffement climatique est d'origine humaine (prouvé), il déstabilise nos environnements (prouvé) qui sont le ciment de nos société humaine. Je croyais que le camp des patriotes était un peu plus intelligent, c'est triste.

Même si le réchauffement climatique provoqué par les humains etait une réalité et un problème, on pourrait supprimer toutes les emissions de CO2 de la france et ca ne changerais rien au problème. La france n'est pas un pays polluant, nous avons une histoire d'hydroelectricite et d'energie nucléaire, notre reseau de transport en commun est efficace. Parler davantage du climat en france est une diversion des vrais problèmes. Et la gauche écolo essayait de pousser non aux nucléaire récemment. Ils ne savent rien a rien, clairement

@Jeanpit4 @DamienRieu Le problème de votre argument est que la major partie de nos consommations énergétiques ne sont pas électrique (donc pas nucléaire). De plus, ce n'est pas parce qu'on est un "bon élève" qu'il faut arrêter les efforts, au risque de voir un délitement (déjà présent) de la filière
