Hard to believe that he's been gone for 5 years. Partly because I carry the-Dad-in-my-head everywhere I go, which means I always have to order Bananana daiquiris whenever see them. This is how I like to remember him - laughing with a bird on his head.

Today in my garden, amidst the thrust and hurl of wind; this Robin, perched still & steadfast just sang, for so long. There and then, all I felt was hope and the strongest surge of determination. Nature does that, it forges unimaginable purpose. In fragility there is strength.

@alicesalisburyj @rivercottage Hi Alice, we are working on it. We have trialled two different paper labels. One is wrinkling under refrigeration & the other leaves a sticky glue residue which discourages reusing the jar. But we believe we have found a great solution & we’ll be rolling it out as soon as we can.

Many British MEPs were in tears listening to this Is the strategy to block any chance of a renegotiation by the EU? Surely this alienates any but the most ardent Brexit headbangers. Anybody who values our place in the world would hang their head in shame
