Under the aegis of West Bengal & Sikkim Directorate NCC cadets of West Bengal and Sikkim Dte came together at the NCC Training Institute Kolkata as a run up to IDOY2026. With the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing” they embraced healthy living and better lifestyle in a powerful yoga session conducted by Visharad Smt Anju Mishra. Tennis legend Shri Leander Paes graced the event as Chief Guest sharing inspiring words on discipline determination and resilience. The Olympic and Grand Slam icon who has won Padma Bhushan Padma Shri Arjuna Award and Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna motivated the cadets with his belief that “the harder the battle the sweeter is the victory” and committed his support to NCC activities in sports and wellness.
