Exercise #CINBAX II 2026 The Indian Army contingent departed today for the second edition of India - Cambodia Bilateral Military Exercise CINBAX-II. The exercise is scheduled to be conducted at Techo Sen Phnom Thom Mreas Prov Royal Cambodian Air Force Training Centre (Camp Basil), Kampong Speu Province, Kingdom of Cambodia from 04 to 17 May 2026. Veteran Achievers Award: Recognising Contributions, Rewarding Excellence #GeneralUpendraDwivedi, #COAS, felicitated four distinguished veterans during his visit to Jabalpur for their exceptional contributions to nation-building, social welfare and community empowerment. Lieutenant Colonel Shri Chand Diwan (Retd), an Army Medical Corps veteran, has dedicated himself to providing free medical consultations and expert ECHS guidance to the veteran community. His valuable contributions have immensely supported the needs of veterans in the region. Subedar (Honorary Captain) V K Mishra (Retd) has been associated with an NGO and spearheads initiatives for the welfare of ex-servicemen, war widows and their families. Through a digital network of over 800 veterans, he acts as a liaison between the veteran community, local administration and pension authorities, ensuring effective grievance redressal. Havildar Jagdish Patel (Retd) provides selfless support to veterans and widows in the remote areas of Mandla, resolving pension-related issues. He is also actively involved in raising awareness in society about various women and child welfare schemes. Havildar Prabhakar Singh Parihaar (Retd), post-retirement, transitioned into the Madhya Pradesh Police and has established himself as a fitting ambassador of the Indian Army within the state administration.
