Web3 does change lives. I grew up in a pretty run down area in Pakistan and come from a family where we were just getting by, no car, rented apartment, a mediocre life. My parents still wanted the best for me and gave it their all, sending me to a private school with their life savings. I knew it wasn’t for me and I convinced them to let me drop out. I was 14 years old at that time. That’s when I took my first big leap of faith and went all-in on NFT’s Grinding whitelists for over 18 hours every single day and it worked. I made $4k from a week’s worth of work (the annual salary in Pakistan) I had a lot of friends join me when the NFT meta was big, but when the meta died down, everybody left except for me. I got into moderation, community management and basically everything that Web3 had to offer in terms of work. Worked my way up from working for free to then working with brands like @FCBarcelona and other massive web3 entities. And now, I’m here. It’s been almost 6 years, I’m 19 years old. I still don’t have a lambo, I still don’t have a mansion. I drive a 2006 Honda Civic but I drive around in it with pride that I earned it myself, despite my circumstances. I’m not even close to where I wanna be right now. But I will never take granted the fact that 14 year old me could have never even dreamt of this. I’m grateful to Web3 and all the opportunities it has provided and the way it completely changed my life. @notsoeasymoney It was innovative the but InfoFI as a whole was a pile of trash covered in gold flakes. Even the brands who partook in campaigns didn’t necessarily get any meaningful ROI, just noise and empty impressions. If infoFI ever makes a comeback, I hope it’s outcome based

Kaito inherently was an innovative product. It brought countless impressions, mindshare, and interest to protocals, dapps, ecosystems that otherwise would have lacked it. Was their system flawed and gamed over time? Absolutely. But initially the product opened up an opportunity for accounts of any size to essentially be 'monetized' And with that, it gave an avenue for many accounts that didnt just AI slop, but post actual quality content, grow. Seeing the API shift, i think is a good thing, infofi ran its course, but to say it was an inherent fail across the board, i do not agree with.

The reply guy is not dead. It’s just more demanding now, a lot of people are seeing this as a negative but it’s a net positive for the space in as a whole. - Higher quality replies are rewarded by the algorithm. - Slop and spammy behaviour is punished. Reply guys are the heart and soul of X and CT, taking it away would be a dumb move and I’m pretty sure @nikitabier is already aware of that. Spread value = Get rewarded, it’s that simple.
