After our @NBCNews interview aired nationally on TV and being quoted in major @bloomberg and @cnn articles, we felt the need to post one last 2025 example to symbolize just how far Google has strayed from their original goal of supporting the open web which made them into the successful company they are today. Google is using our photo mashed together with other photos that aren’t ours, along side a full untested plagiarized Frankenstein recipe, using our actual names (started happening after the news articles were published), our actual recipe page isn’t being cited at all, and we have no way to stop this madness. This is happening to all search verticals. Hopefully this is rock bottom. Let’s hope 2026 is better! Let’s have a great New Year 🎉 cc @rustybrick

ChatGPT Shopping results have been updated.
I've been tracking the evolution of the ChatGPT Shoppable products integration for my clients since launch in May, and this is the biggest change so far.
The primary changes include:
1. Cleaner grid display, without label overlays
Quite a lot has changed when comparing the layout against what it has looked like since launch, namely giving more space to the product image, removal of the attribute overlays, and more.
2. Product title source as the HTML title, not just the feed title
This is the most interesting of the lot, and provides insight into how the results are being generated. Previously, ChatGPT was solely reliant on product feeds for title generation, now they're often using the HTML from the page.
3. Removal of feed-eligible product-specific reviews
Another interesting update involves the removal of product-related reviews completely. This is quite a surprising one, given the rich content that these reviews provide, but maybe ChatGPT users aren't concerned about this...
4. Currency reflected in product grids when relevant
The currency issues have been an ongoing one, with the addition of the currency information being provided within the grid display. Is this enough to be truly useful for users? My article provides more feedback around this.
If you're wanting to learn more about the updates, and the impact on eCommerce stores, make sure to check out my article in the comments for the full rundown (including reference to new research from @thinking_slow).

I just upgraded to NotionAI to see if it can that vibe business tool we're all looking for.
So far, so good.
It was able to scan for marketing emails in my inbox, find the most interesting templates and prep a swipe file for me in just 1 prompt.
Not bad, not bad.
I still wish they'd allow MCP though, it's still a bit of a walled garden.

@MattTutt1 I liked that guy at first, but the stuff he spouts now seems like borderline insanity. Dude is obsessed with money and there are many like him here. It is crazy how unhinged Twitter got after Melon.
