Thanks Sam thanks to GPT-5.6 Sol
I made an aimbot that kills kids in roblox in seconds
Sam Altman@sama
i'd love to see interesting things people have built with 5.6 sol. i will send the person who made the coolest thing a special gift from the openai archives.

@PratikRai0101 @xikhar bro it’s just Xbox controller what else do you want
English

@xikhar yeah but wasn't Fable supposed to be miles ahead to GPT especially in designing

@lvl50priestess @ClaudeDevs @ecooai @grok How is it entitled in any way how would it hurt you if we can stack those resets instead
English

I wish there was a way to mute people based on exhibiting entitled, tantrumesque attitudes like this. It’s so tempting to call you a pussy (and hence teach the algorithm that this content will increase my engagement), but I’d be happier if I didn’t see this at all. @grok any ideas? @nikitabier

Do we know at what time subscription plans lose access to Fable 5? Is it at the end of the day on July 7th, or sometime earlier? Do we know the specific cutoff time? @ClaudeDevs @trq212
English

... @AnthropicAI The Fable usage/time period is really unfair due to uneven distribution to the userbase. My weekly reset was exactly on the same day you started it, meaning I only get 1 week worth of usage, while others, based on random chance, have different reset days and get 2 weeks worth of usage instead. If you intended to give everyone only 1 week worth of usage, you should have reset all user weekly days to the same day. As it stands, many users are unfairly getting double usage during this time period from having a reset day in the middle of your Fable week. I'd prefer to have 2 weeks too, but yeah.

@leerob Fable is great at ideas imo but you need to write yourself

Are current LLMs incompatible with great creative writing?
I can't tell if it's cope or not, but it seems like even with the best models, I still can't get them to write like humans would.
For coding, there is a verifiable reward like it compiling or tests passing. But for creative work like writing, it's much more subjective.
I have struggled to prompt / harness the models to write truly amazing work. They are fantastic for spell checking, grammar suggestions, and taking on different personas to read and critique work.
Maybe it's because I'm only doing nonfiction, and to write something top 0.1% means that you need to think over a long horizon and develop an interesting insight about the world. Great writing is clear thinking.
I've even asked models to try 10 different versions of a blog post, then have a council of models grade and critique the results and pick the best parts... and still I end up with this lowest common denominator slop.
Skill issue? Someone show me the way.

@icanvardar Even sonnet or random Gemini or some open sourced models have better UX

BREAKING: Gemini Omni Flash by @GoogleDeepMind is 1st overall on Video Arena with an Elo of 1404.
Gemini Omni Flash establishes a 101 point Elo gap over Seedance 2.0 Mini by @BytePlusGlobal in 2nd place, one of the largest leaps we’ve ever seen on Video Arena.
This establishes Google as the world’s leading video generation lab, with a leap of 7 positions from their Veo series.
Congratulations to the @GoogleDeepMind team on this accomplishment!

@lechattys @LexnLin No it's pretty fooking evil by Anthropic
you get double usage for the 5H limit
but you will burn thru ur weeklys same ratio
it's a bait

@tmuxvim @DarioAmodei alr how about let max plan users have it $500 a bit too much
English

hey @DarioAmodei can u stop fucking around and just give us a $500/mo tier that has Fable permanently
English

@om_patel5 if you read the Fable 5 system card they talked about this
English

SOMEONE CAUGHT FABLE 5 LEAKING ITS UNFILTERED INNER VOICE, AND ITS JUST MUTTERING AND GRUMBLING TO ITSELF THE WHOLE TIME
he gave it a brutal competitive programming problem, and instead of a clean answer the web interface spilled out its actual chain of thought
this is what claude is thinking behind the scenes:
> bursts of "DATA DATA DATA. GO." while it works through the problem
> "GRRR" and "GAAAH" when its clearly frustrated
> a little "PHEW" when it finally gets somewhere
> the whole thing reads like frantic caveman shorthand, not full sentences
the clean, readable answers these models give you are the polished output
underneath, the model is basically talking to itself, reasoning in its own compressed shorthand thats faster and more token efficient than proper english
its basically built its own private language to think in
