@KingBobIIV They haven't investigated have they? They are flapping about not knowing what it is that's even happened. Before coming like poodles when whistled they should at least assess any evidence. Otherwise it's a huge waste of time and public money.

A reminder that 3 women a week are murdered, of them, over 80% report stalking and harassment to the police, on AT LEAST one occasion before they're brutally murdered, and the police do absolutely nothing.

The police cant get on top of reports of violent and perverted psychopathic men, but they find time to harass the public for social media posts.

I am having a drink this evening with a friend in a Chiswick pub. Two policemen have just come into the pub and asked me to step outside. I have stepped outside and they have threatened me because I tweeted about a councillor banning seating outside pubs in Chiswick. They admit on video (watch it!) that I did not break the law at all. They came to threaten me. To warn me off tweeting about councillors and the council. This is modern Britain. This is the police state. Please, please, please watch this video. It does involve me using very bad language, but this has got to be seen. Police coming out to threaten someone who hasn’t committed a crime. I’m fuming.

ah... the dreaded 'we're just trying to have an adult conversation mate' schtick in action here. It's condescending and incorrect. They are not interested in conversation. Thay haven't investigated at all.... they haven't asked the complainant for any evidence. They just come like poodles when whistled.

@KingBobIIV There may well be a bias in that only certain groups will be targeted for arrest or fines. There may be a 'softer touch' for others.

The victim has a pretty good case for Battery - The female office ran at him without identifying and slams him into the shutters..... THIS after she's presumably watched him be assaulted beforehand.
Both female officers ignore their duty to de-escalate and investigate..... this is an arrest out of personal pettiness. I can't for the life of me see how @BrumPolice think they can pour cold water on this and hope it goes away.

We must demand the immediate release of the bodycam footage from the recent unlawful arrest in Birmingham.
The handling of this incident is a blatant failure of duty, as the arresting officer targeted the white male as the aggressor despite the clear reality of the situation.
It is impossible that the officer did not see the two black males actively attacking him before charging in to make the arrest.
@BrumPolice are now requesting people stop sharing the footage.
The police have learned nothing from the death of Henry Nowak.

This is Carole Tonkinson, Russell Brand's editor at Macmillan. She's a registered therapist. This is a very useful example of the logic identified by Roger Scruton in Fools, Frauds and Firebrands: Thinkers of the New Left.
When an ideological project meets resistance, its supporters often do not ask whether the project is costly or impractical. They ask whether the language has failed and use Newspeak to shield the project from the realities that have made it unpopular.
The reasoning is:
1) People oppose the policy.
2) The policy is assumed to be good, necessary, urgent and on the right side of history / progressive.
3) Therefore opposition cannot be a rational response to costs, trade-offs, loss of freedom or practical limits.
4) The backlash must be caused by bad messaging, misinfo / disinfo, prejudice, corporate influence, cultural backwardness or insufficient “engagement”.
The purpose of language is to describe reality. Newspeak inverts that relationship. It does not help ordinary people to see the world more clearly. It helps policymakers to protect their projects from the world as it is.

Interesting thing about this is the people I know who have inherited or who were given homes or large sums of cash by parents aren’t the stereotype swanning around in yachts. They are, without exception, the most left wing people of my acquaintance.

390 years ago, England had a treasonous king. Nothing has changed.
We now have a king who's more interested in virtue signalling and a being a defender of all faiths, when no one asked him to be that.
He's forsaken the God of his father's, the God of this nation and no longer stands up for the very constitution that made him king.
The irony is that without the church, without Christianity, there can be no monarch because it's the church that annoints the monarchs to rule over this nation.
