One last point. I'm arguing both that the government has to prove this and that they cannot prove this. You have not tried to argue that the government can prove this, only that they do not have to. If you think it's even possible that I'm right that they couldn't prove this but that I'm wrong and they do not have to prove this, then you have to conclude that the drafting of the indictment was wildly incompetent. Both charges, as alleged in the indictment, require the government to prove precisely the element I've argued that the government has to prove. If you think they even might not be able to prove it but didn't need to allege it, then you think the government, for no reason, drafted the indictment so that it they have to prove something they didn't need to prove that at the very least is hard to prove. Notice the word "would" in both cases. Not "could", but "would". Notice that clause is a purely objective test that has nothing to do with what Comey did or didn't intend in both cases.

@Bird_XlRPL I found out later that it was dangerous to have that many people on that stage at once. In a sense, I'm glad nothing happened, but it would have been epic had the stage collapsed, someone asked me if I was okay, and I got to say: I'm okay, it's just a stage I'm going through.
