I'm glad the overwhelming majority of people that have seen or purchased the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection are calling out what a catastrophic release this was. For a while, people would lean on the idea that it was just trendy to hate on Mortal Kombat, but this release was so bad that using that excuse is just not going to fly any more. People aren't stupid, they aren't blind and calling them names because they want the bare minimum in a full priced game isn't going to work. Those that are riding the hardest for this game despite its glaring issues are part of the problem, but they're not the whole problem. A lot of them are self centered and simply don't care about things that don't affect their experiences... for now. If you continue to support sub par games then that same lack of care will come knocking on the doors of the things you do care about. Be objective if you're going to chime in on the conversation. We get it. You play offline with Billy up the road and you just mash buttons. Input delay, audio issues and online infrastructure means nothing to you. Great. That doesn't change anything being said and if you think the vast majority of people that are complaining are cry babies for pointing that out, you are the human guinea pig the suits love. Keep at it. That being said, even those these people are a problem and should be called out, they're not the biggest problem. The real issue here sits at the top. The people in charge of Mortal Kombat at all levels need to abandon the idea that they can milk this franchise for all its worth and face no backlash. Those days are also over. For a long time, Mortal Kombat enjoyed the luxury of providing sub par entertainment with minimal consequences, but not even the Mortal Kombat name is safe from being thrown under the bus and turned into a meme. It is time you people in charge start treating the game with care and a level of respect it deserves. The same care and respect that captured the attention of the masses for so many years. You've spent the last couple of years bastardising Mortal Kombat and not giving people what they want. Whilst NRS is not directly at fault in this instance, at the end of the day its just another stain on the Mortal Kombat franchise. I hope that you guys are really thinking carefully about what you do with the franchise next because your next game (in my opinion) could either be the series saviour or the straw that broke the camels back. Stop taking advantage of the good will of the customer. You're running out of it and if I was you, I wouldn't Test My Luck any further.

@frostman007 The other thing I noticed is that run and block buttons are inverted. I had this game on my PS1: block was always R1 and run was always L1. Of course, I changed controls on settings but I had to change them again when playing online.

@frostman007 I think online gameplay on MK4 is particularly slow even though my connection is decent. I think the game should record online matches for future replay. I'm not talking about "video recording", I mean frame data and player moves; this way I can rewatch the match without the lag.

I think the upcoming MK Legacy Kollection won't closely resemble the original MK4 arcade unless devs fully emulate the Zeus hardware. I saw early access images and they don't look like the real thing yet. I hope updates will bridge the gap though! youtu.be/1sGbYLWFH5g

@DigitalEclipse The only reason I'm buying this game is because there's never been decent emulation of Mortal Kombat 4 and that all ports and sequels (such as MK Gold) are a joke in comparison. The second reason is online gameplay. I just can't wait to get my hands on it.
