Some people don't know how to be normal when referring to black characters (and especially black women) in fandoms, so here's eight antiblack stereotypes in media to look out for and examples on how they can appear in fandom headcanons; tw / sa, racism, rape

You can criticise Avid's response without calling them a man or being exorsexist & transmisogynistic. I agree, some of his recent tweets have been incendiary. But if you call them a "grown man", you are exorsexist. & if you call misogyny an "afab issue" you are transmisogynistic

Nonblack ppl in the quotes saying “definitions change!” as if this change wasn’t spurred on by right wingers bastardizing the term and yall ignoring black ppl. “Well now it means-“ no it doesn’t. It still means being aware of Antiblackness.

but of course. it's all out of context and actually black trans people calling out intracommunity racism are malicious actors who want to silence you. lol

i'm sure miss "if its a sketch its not actually a black character" "black people shouldnt reclaim slurs" "i might be white but im right" "theyre turning trans spaces into black only spaces by calling out racism" really cares about slurs

Slander is actually spoken out loud, but since you're so in favor of changing definitions to fit your narrative I suppose that don't matter, eh miss "it's okay for someone to be scared of all black people if they had a bad experience with one"?

it be the most allegedly “woke” and “leftist” people who are quick to say that any acknowledgement of anti-blackness is divisive & reactionary

i don't like intracommunity trans discourse. i think it's ultimately pointless and divisive for the sole purpose of bond weakening separatism . that being said, the amount of racism and antiblackness that people let slide is outrageous.

but then again, the whole crux of your argument in the first place is defending a meme made by a white woman who slung the hard r over and over. i don't know if you knew that, so i'm not gonna say you're doing it on purpose, but the way you moved in your op dont help dissuade it

my problem is not pointing out the higher chance of violence trans women face at all, i'm not only very aware of it but i also do my best to point out this issue when i can. my issue is trying to center white women in a conversation about trans women of color.
