@jdawgLGRW I don’t think most people are saying “trade away the core” that doesn’t make sense. Any good GM should always look for better options or upgrades, to upgrade sometimes you have to include core players. This group hasn’t got it done, so people aren’t stupid for suggesting it.

Which is what every coach in the league should do when down two goals in the third period. Still too conservative in the NHL the way. You’re down two goals, you need looks and shots. Pull the goalie.

You Yzerman haters need to give it a rest. Rebuilds take time. We aren’t the Houston Texans. We have a top 5 prospect potential l. He can’t just trade for robo, miller, sign Ehlers or whatever. If it was that easy HE WOULD HAVE DONE IT. He’s not lazy, it was too expensive.

@jdawgLGRW I think it’s a great pick up, I do think it’s reasonable to be critical of Steve Yzerman and not be a hater. He’s my favourite player of all time but I’ll be honest I don’t think we are in a great spot this far into our rebuild.

The Gibson trade is actually such a steal for the Red Wings. Do the low IQ Yzerman haters have anything negative to say about it? Genuinely curious. #LGRW
