Hey, Andrew, you seem to be suffering from memory loss so let me help you out. At the last Tory budget, Jeremy Hunt left headroom of just £8.9bn (& that’s before the black hole). @RachelReevesMP has almost tripled that to nearly £24bn. She’s cleaning up your mess and Britain is more resilient because of it
Andrew Griffith MP@griffitha

In part it’s because the U.K. Chancellor has so little headroom after spending her first 20 months in office spending and borrowing like a euro millions lottery winner. Vapour thin headroom means every move in forecasts is amplified.

@Mr_Husky1 @MissVJFxx Fuck him off… my missus gets loads of money from her parents on a continual basis and I’ve never taken a penny. I’m my own man, graft like fuck and I don’t need any money other than what I earn and save…

I’m about to get married, and my fiancé knows I have an inheritance that was left to me by my grandparents. It’s in my name only, and I’ve been saving it for years. Now he’s saying that before we get married, I should put the entire inheritance into a joint account so we can “start fresh together,” or he doesn’t think we should go through with the wedding. I’m 36 already and this is something my family worked hard to leave me. I’m torn between wanting to build a life together and feeling like I’m being pressured to give up something important to me. What do you think I should do? By isitmeaitah

‘The impacts of government policies starting to take hold’… 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You mean the economy bordering on recession? Or the crazy rise in the starting wage putting off employers taking on inexperienced young people and those young people not having jobs in the millions? Or is it the billions spent on welfare that’s bankrupting us at record pace? Absolute mug…

Labour now 4 points behind Reform. Starmer having a good few weeks, and the impacts of government polices starting to take hold. At the same time far right parties are on the decline around Europe.

Last night I was in a total blackout in Cuba's capital Havana - a result of the cruel & illegal US blockade and Trump's attempt to tighten this by stopping any fuel getting in. Trump is trying to strangle millions of people into submission. We must take a stand against this.

I had the responsibility of an oil rig, I was the one who decide issues that could put an oil company out of business or keep them all safe from events like Macondo or Piper Alpha. Most I got was $250k a year, I still have dreams of what could have happened. He is Grossly over paid, he doesn’t do his job of 70bn on his own, the people around him do the job. He is grossly over valued.

Did You Know ? Tesco CEO Ken Murphy’s pay stands at nearly £10m a year = £27,400 a day and doesn’t pay a penny in tax to the UK He earns 430 x the average Tesco employees who pays tax That doesn’t seem fair to me

Two weeks ago we had solar panels and a battery fitted. We have just completed our first full week with the system. Our electric bill for the week commencing 10th March 2026 compared to the same week last year has dropped by 71% from £31.71 to £9.05. We also have not received our DNO cert yet which would allow us to sell back into the grid. On sunny days our battery has been full by 11:30am meaning we don’t yet benefit from the excess free energy being produced. We are now going to buy an electric car and fill it with free energy. If only all of the UK could do this, it would go along way to reducing the countries high energy costs. @octopusenergy @g__j

Working class people do not need more chaos from the likes of Farage and Badenoch. We need decent pay, secure housing, rights at work and public services that function. That’s why I’m Labour. And I’m far from the only one.

Starmer's Attorney General, this little creature, Richard Hermer, who specifically ordered my prosecution has expressed political contempt for me personally in a rant about the Tories and Reform. Proving once again how corrupt the British judiciary is. order-order.com/2026/03/20/her…

🚨BREAKING: President Trump on the Islamic regime in Iran: "I don't want to do a ceasefire. You don’t do a ceasefire when you’re obliterating the other side. They don’t have a navy or an air force. Their leaders have been killed." Accurate, precise.

Let's face it Luke... under the NHS currently, if you need non-urgent surgery now for a condition that's causing you pain without being health threatening, you've either got to suffer for 18 months whilst you're on the waiting list, or pay to get the surgery done within a couple of weeks. I'd therefore argue that the NHS in it's current form is not free at the point of service as an awful lot of people are paying to avoid living in pain for over a year.

So there we have it. Reform REFUSING TO RULE OUT a social insurance model for the NHS. That means under Reform, your healthcare could stop being a right and start becoming a risk. That is deeply, deeply concerning. Reform cannot be trusted.
Farrukh@implausibleblog

Reform UK's James Orr says the NHS will be free at the point of use What he doesn't tell you is that Nigel Farage has advocated for an insurance based NHS That means, as the UK taxpayer will pay more for the same services, even if the NHS is 'free at the point of use' When Fiona Bruce asks him to explain this, he waffles Exposed and humiliated on #BBCQT

I think Kier Starmer is the best PM we have had for decades. Strange that so many say he's made mistakes/he's not perfect. When did those commentators ever say tory PMs made mistakes? You know tory governments that make ordinary people poorer & rich people richer. FUNNY THAT
