Breaking New Footage: Woman Screams 'Bomb Strapped to Me' at Kids' Confirmation in Packed Navan Church
Teachers and clergy at St Mary's Church in Navan, Co. Meath, have been widely commended for their composure and quick thinking after a woman interrupted a Confirmation ceremony by claiming she had a bomb strapped to her body.
The incident took place on Saturday, during a packed service at the central church on Fairgreen/Trimgate Street. Hundreds of sixth-class students from four local schools, along with their parents and sponsors, were present as they prepared to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation from Bishop of Meath Tom Deenihan.
The woman approached the altar, accessed the microphone, held her jacket closed, and announced she had something to say before declaring she had a bomb. Priests and teachers responded swiftly and calmly, escorting her away from the altar and out of the church without any escalation or widespread panic.
Many attendees did not clearly hear her exact words due to the commotion, and reactions varied: some children appeared frightened, while others only learned of the claim afterward from friends. Parents praised the handling of the situation, noting that the calm intervention by clergy and educators prevented further distress among the young congregation.
Alarming released footage from our source shows the tense moment the woman was being escorted out, highlighting the potential danger in such a crowded setting with children present.
Church representatives have declined to comment on the matter.
Gardaí confirmed they attended a report of a public order incident at the location around 1 p.m. that day. A woman in her 40s was arrested on site, has since been charged, and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date. Due to the ongoing legal proceedings, no additional details are being released.

@SaulStaniforth @KNEECAPCEOL Nothing about what the Cuban administration did to Cubans, the Venezuelan administration to Venezuelans or Iranian administration did to Iranians

"Why are you in Havana?"
@KNEECAPCEOL: ".. to raise awareness about the collective punishment that's being dealt to the Cuban people by the Trump administration.. Irish and Cuban solidarity is something that goes back along time.."

@ALangridge55 @talkaboutlufcv2 The Sunderland game was our handiest home game remaining, they had injuries gave a debut to a keeper and sat relatively comfortable on 37pts
We shit the bed, a crucial loss
English

@talkaboutlufcv2 Teams lower in the league fight like hell or have nothing to play for ie wolves
These games are going to be the most difficult of the season it sure why a lot of people don’t get that! Would rather be playing mid table sides towards the end
English

Very likely we only have a 1pt gap to WH post Man U. Anything more than that I’d be surprised but it’s a massive bonus. But then the game weeks after are in our favour so we’re gonna have to hold our nerve… #LUFC
Talk About Leeds (C) 🏆@talkaboutlufcv2
GW31: A draw for Leeds and a loss for West Ham sees the gap to relegation for Leeds extend to 4pts. Forest win their first game in seven to leapfrog Spurs who are now winless in 13 PL games.
English

@talkaboutlufcv2 11 weeks rising, couldn't keep it going could we that's what teams who consolidate do, no despite how poor those below were we had to fall back in with them
English

@talkaboutlufcv2 Being so tight West Hams poor GD could be a decider, they're not scoring bucket loads to bring that down
English

That’s an average weekend you’d say. We’ve come out of it with a point extra gap to the relegation zone which is important, but NF win was the worst result in that one. #LUFC

English

@LukeJB47 @Matt27Lawson @WestHam_Central If Leeds can gain 1 more pt on them before that game, a 4 pt lead they can ensure safety with a win there
English

@Matt27Lawson @WestHam_Central Leeds will have nothing to play for come the spurs game, giving spurs the edge
If Leeds rnt mathematically cleared by spurs, then Leeds to win 3-1
English

@90sfootball The game in Dublin, Van Gaal threw on every striker in his squad last 20 mins and they were running into each other
English

@lufcfilm @AndyLUFC_ We did nothing to win last night but 3pts should have been had against Sunderland even if we did nothing in that either but it was arguably our easier home fixture remaining ...and you can't miss a bloody pen at this stage
English

@AndyLUFC_ could you imagine 3 at palace and 3 last night 😭 we’d have been so safe it’s ridiculous
English

@JackLUFC1919 After battling pts at Chelsea and Villa unlucky not to get all 3 there who would have predicted 1 pt from Sunderland/Brentford home, predictions waste of time
English

@talkaboutlufcv2 In all likelihood we lose next up at Manutd and West Ham likely beat Wolves whatever about Spurs going to Sunderland and Forest playing Villa it's a scenario that puts those 3 below us within 1 win and becomes a straight shoot out, we're not handling pressure well right now
English

7 games to go, we play all of the bottom 4 teams, two at home.
We have the most points of the teams battling relegation and have this fixture list.
If we go down from this position, we deserve it. Reset after the break and prove we’re good enough to be in the league. #LUFC

English

@GillardGlyn @iGerLynch The point was more our wasted opportunities to have some insurance pts in the bank, with a trip to Old Trafford next that gap could be down to next to nothing after that round of games, putting all the pressure on needing 3 pts against Burnley
English

@leejames665 @iGerLynch Doesn't matter in the slightest about Forest.
What matters is the gap to the team 3rd from bottom (West Ham), it was 3 points but is now 4 points.

English

@isaacjohnsonLL Next fixture coming at the worst possible time, highly likely get a hiding and it could all bunch up again...putting all the pressure on the next game against Burnley
English

Leeds United end the weekend a point further away from the relegation zone
Underlines that every point is valuable but Leeds still need to help themselves much more
Only (a very poor) Spurs have a longer winless run and none have gone longer without a goal [four PL games] #lufc
English

@GrindCulture_ Dunno but they'll all have you pissing fire for a month
English

For everyone panicking...
Replicate the last 7, in our next 7 and we end up on 40 points.
It would the require Forest/West Ham to go 3 wins from their 7 to overtake us.
The run we’ve just had, is arguably harder than the next 7
We just need to hold our nerve.

Leeds last 7 games. Haven’t won since Forest at home The draws against Villa, Chelsea & Palace last weekend are decent especially being down to 10 men against City we don’t expect nothing but was unlucky against them Sunderland at (H) & Brentford at (H) are poor. #LUFC
