@thebfcbeesblog None of those players would start, or even come on. Maybe onyeka and only an hour ago you reminded us why we don’t miss him. We’ve been v unlucky with injuries in the last month, but Damsgard, hickey & Ajer will be back after the international break.

This squad is paper thin and if we manage to get anything out of this it'll be a miracle. Henry, Hickey, Ajer, Janet, Milambo. Carvalho all out, plus Da Silva not back yet. Looking like a great decision to ship out Onyeka, Konak, Nunes, Arthur and Maghoma on loan.

Sounded a professional performance. If Nelson's price tag isn't too much and his wages aren't over the top should we sign him? Seems like he was playing well. Yes, should have had a goal or 2 but that's just a lack of competitive game action I'd say.

@thebfcbeesblog 100%. Frank never managed to find a way to get Jensen & Dams into the same 11. Andrews just did it, with Jensen RW. Dango won’t walk back into the team.

I know Keith will manage things game by game but getting Jensen and Damsgaard in the same team whilst finding a way to be solid in the middle is exactly what we needed. Dango coming back will mix things up but that shape and selection today was spot on.

Keith Andrews was doubted when promoted from set-piece coach to head coach at #BrentfordFC. Lost Mbeumo, Wissa, Norgaard. Questioned for wanting Henderson. Andrews now 8th, thrashing Bournemouth, Henderson shining, positive xGtech. Long way to go but KA proving smart appointment.

@BrentfordHive Jensen was class in the 2nd half, funny how two people at the same game, see it so differently. Up close in the left channel, Jensen’s link up play was amazing. The odd nutmeg, reverse pass, anticipated danger. Milambo was the only player for me off the pace.

5️⃣ things we learned from Bournemouth 0 Brentford 2: 1: Frank Onyeka was great today, he's been good in his cameos but really stepped up today, was crucial in setting up the 2nd goal. 2: Rico was everywhere, popped up on both sides and kept Doak out of the game. 3: Carvalho and Thiago with the goals, both quality players, just need confidence. You can see how much it means to Igor. 4: Our game management in these last 2 games has been really good. It was probably Thomas Frank's biggest weakness. Very promising signs. 5: Everyone bar Jensen was quality today, Valdimarsson made some great saves, Ajer with a goal line clearance, Sepp was class. Onto Sunderland 🐝 #BrentfordFC

@DanTheBee1 He’s also fit as a fiddle, and always available. He can defend in a low block, and no doubt will play some part this year. I for one am glad we have someone like him on our bench. He isn’t going to start a PL game though, and maybe he will want to move on. Fair enough if he does.

I’ll tell you what Mads Roerslev is. He’s a bang avarage premier league right back. I’ll also say, that he’s an absolutely SUPERB 3rd choice premier league right back. Squad depth people! How good do you expect our 3rd choice right back to be? Don’t hound him out for TwitX likes!

Digital season tickets are complete utter rubbish, what does it achieve for anyone? Older people will have a hard time getting it set up and giving your ticket if you can't go will also be a massive pain. Why @BrentfordFC ?

@EBL2017 Most of this is correct but I don’t think I’ve seen him take a throw, let alone a “long” one. I’ve watched probably 120+ of his 190 games.

Combine that with the fact that Thomas Frank singled him out for his 'leadership qualities', and it is clear why Arteta likes him. Oh, and set-pieces. Top 15% in world football last season for G/A from midfield (aerial prowess), takes a long throw, and defends the front zone 🔝
