Why do blue checkmark "influencers" who post nothing but their comments, takes, opinions, and whatever else they can think of, consider themselves, "creators"? I guess maybe to be a "creator" here on X, you've got to be "creative" when posting all that click bait.😄

@misfitpatriot_ Came across your post. Don't know who your are, but here's the thought I received from it. If you truly don't give a crap about not being paid, drop the blue checkmark. Stop paying for it and let the algorithm do it's thing. But I doubt you'll do that. And we both know why. Money

My payout has dropped significantly on here and guess what? I don’t give a shit. None of these platforms owe me money for my content. This isn’t a job, it’s a hobby. If I wanted to make this a job I could have done it a long time ago by selling out and becoming fake. The amount of opportunities I’ve turned down based solely on them wanting me to clean up my language some people would think it insane. Once you start making money the motivation for your message, you’re a slave to audience capture, or whoever is cutting your checks. You’ll either self censor or even worse become a puppet. There are ways to make $ on here without becoming a shill or a grifter, but most people will take the easy paycheck instead of building a real brand. The internet would probably be a better place if nobody made money off it. It was meant to connect each other, not hustle each other.

Okay, that's all. I'm done. Just felt like doing some complaining. Ha😄 Besides, I have to keep posting at least something to keep this Log account algorithms moving.

I guess I'm on a Friday Rant. So here's another one. So many video podcasters out there... where do they come from? Who are these people? I'm just suppose to listen to these people I never heard of and trust what they are saying is true? I just don't get it.

Youtubers on here saying something about their channels getting shut down. That they don't deserved that, and now their click bate revenue cash has stopped. Begging and pleading to YouTube to fixed this now! Nothing is ever guarantee. You got fired. Go get a job.

I often wonder why I feel so nostalgic about the 80s and 90s. I thought I was alone in this, but apparently I'm not. This woman explains it well, though I don't agree with everything she says. Should I start a support group for Gen X?

I did it! I uninstalled the "X" app from my phone. No more mindless scrolling. I'll only be using "X" on my laptop when I'm working on it. Which won't be an everyday thing. Hooray for me!
